"New York hospitals have 53,000 beds, including 3,000 beds in intensive care units. The ICU beds are about 80% occupied, according to Cuomo.

As of Sunday, 137 of the 729 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus have been hospitalized. There are 65 coronavirus patients in ICUs, 46 of whom are on ventilators. "

In a month we'll forget about this virus because it won't be in the news and they'll just find another way to scare people through the media. Quick, try to remember what panic happened in 2009 with the Swine Flu. You can't, because we didn't panic. The world didn't go nuts at that time. This time they made people panic and go out and buy bulk toilet paper without needing to put a gun to their head.

The real cause for concern is how this will affect the global economy going forward. If the NBA, NHL, Disney, Universal, etc. all close their doors that is a bad sign, not for the end of the world or nothing, but just that it shows how ridiculous this panic has been overblown.

The answer is yes I do. But considering in the same time frame 10x more people have died worldwide over the flu, I think we need to just relax. We'll be fine. But if they were hoping to have the world economy impacted negatively it might just work.

Closing for 8 weeks would be a total disaster for the economy. I hope disney does not close that long. It is unnecessary. This whole thing is overblown. Glad I got to go to MK one last time today before they closed it down for God knows how long.

There is just as much risk as keeping their resorts open right now, so it does not seem to matter to them. The virus does not magically start at the touchpoints. They need Income.

Apparently sometime after midnight the Walt Disney World Resort sent out an operational update confirming that they will now close all of the Disney Stores as of March 17th. In addition they will start to close the Disney owned and operated locations at Disney Springs however individual tenants May vary.

The big news though is that all the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and the Vero Beach Resort will cease operations by 5 p.m. on March 20th.

One would think that in a month's time such results would be replicated in other countries.

I'll stick with Fauci's assessment until evidence tells him otherwise.

Do they break it down by county?

I have yet to see that done anywhere. I want to know where people are being tested within a state, and the results.

Indiana is by county, but the news did just say a man from Floyd County not on the map yet tested positive and has been to multiple places in the past 8 days before testing positive including a high school basketball game in our town 50 miles north. So far testing is very sparse to say the least.
