"Australia’s largest airline, Qantas, is planning to make coronavirus vaccines compulsory — when they become available — for passengers who want to fly internationally, and its chief executive predicted that other airlines would follow.

Alan Joyce, the head of Qantas, said on Monday that the airline was looking at changing its terms and conditions to make vaccines compulsory for those traveling into or out of Australia.

He also said he believed vaccinations as a condition for international air travel would be mandated by more airlines: “I’ve talked to my colleagues at other airlines across the globe, and I think it’s going to be a common theme across the board.”

He said airlines and governments around the world have considered developing an electronic vaccination passport that would certify if passengers were vaccinated and with what vaccine. Mr. Joyce’s comments coincided with an announcement by the International Air Transport Association that it was in the final stages of developing a digital health pass that would provide travelers’ testing and vaccine information to governments and airlines."

Just like you need some vaccinations to go to some parts of the world

At Disney, an elderly Hollywood Studios visitor got into an argument and then was attacked by two strangers from a large family group who weren’t all wearing masks after they took shelter from the rain by the bathrooms near the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office report.

One man punched the senior in the head and then a woman from the family joined in, hitting the victim after he fell on the ground. The man, who was at least 65 years old, was not seriously hurt, and the large family left the park before the sheriff’s office could arrest anyone during the Sept. 17 incident, the report said.

So this party beat up a guy, back near RoR and it was raining, and I’m sure they didn’t run out of the park, and I’m sure others saw this..etc. How in the world does no one get arrested? How long did it take authorities to get there? I mean we are not talking in the parking lot or even by the front gates, which would still be tough to get away. I don’t understand. On a day it’s not raining, coming from RoR it would still take this body 10 minutes to get back to the front gate. Wow.

The article I read said they did leave the park before they sheriff office was able to arrest anyone. Of course they didn't have to actually be out of the park to avoid arrest, once they walked away from the scene and mixed in with the rest of the crowd it would be hard to find and stop them before they got out of the park.

Well then we need more people to keep a eye on them as they leave. Few years ago during F&W I was sitting in Germany when 3 guys drunk were cursing up a storm. A lady with her 2 young kids asked them to watch their language. I overheard and went over and they told me to go F—- myself. They walked away. I told the lady I’ll follow them and to remember my hat and the direction I’m walking and let someone know that they are drunk. About 5 minutes later a few guards went by me.. had a chat with them.. they were yelling at him also. They escorted them out of the park and the lady made sure you catch up to me and was appreciative.
Don’t need to get involved physically, just get involved so others can enjoy their day.

I'm sure people have gotten used to FL's deaths numbers being backlogged. I don't know how backlogged they still are, but the numbers recorded by actual death date from 7-14 days ago, are starting to feel like they've turned the wrong corner for at this point in FL's typical timeline. They are reaching October levels, and those are more "complete" than these. We can expect these numbers to increase for another week at least.
