We're you referring to yourself again?
Nope...I don’t get my opinions from the talking picture panel...

Nor am I a New Yorker (New York City...specifically)...they just get a little bit more shade thrown at them than they actually deserve.

If I was talking about “me”...you’d know.

Really?

I’m fascinated because we used to belong to lifetime. Where can I gets me those kinda savings?!?
What state are you in. People in my state would never pay 250.00 a month for a gym. Geez my mortgage plus property taxes is only 1000 a month and I have a 2500 sq foot house on a golf course.

The psychological profile comment was pretty creepy.

Contract Tracing in this country is abysmal. That is why we can never really track down cases unless they are massive clusters.

In the absence of data, common sense should prevail. Gyms require you touch several different pieces of equipment, require no masks and you are very close proximity of other people that are often coughing/sweating near people and equipment. To me, its a no brainer to not go to a gym right now.
Stay out of the gym! Stay out of your church! Go to Wal Mart where it's safe!

You are not in close proximity to other people and viruses aren't spread through sweat. Gyms have changed everything to make them safe. You obviously aren't aware of this.

So when there's a row of exercise bikes, treadmills, elliptical machines, etc. all side by side with people breathing heavy from doing a cardio workout, you don't think that's a high risk of spreading a respiratory virus?

There aren't enough contact tracers to trace an outbreak of this magnitude. Dr. Fauci also brought up the issue (which I questioned months ago) that the asymptomatic carriers that spread the virus make testing and contact tracing not work to stop the spread. He also mentioned the other issue that contact tracing is done via phone and that in certain communities the people do not wish to speak with a government contact tracer.

They are not side by side anymore 6 feet between everything. I'm sure the hotel gyms at WDW will be similar.

I'd say NY (along with NJ and CT) did things right. One of the few areas in the country that hasn't spiked in new cases. And NY was a bad scene for a while.

Joisey.

What you described sounds like a lifetime...which are in the northeast in high end suburbs. Beautiful...but excessive.

I’m ornery today...it was a shot at lifetime - which I self deprecate myself on.
It obviously doesn’t apply to you. Friendly fire.

I think people missed my point with the selective closures. Anyway, there is nothing I can do about it. It looks like I'll get to work out at WDW.
Selective closures and what is/isn't allowed is a bit ridiculous, IMO.

You must wear a mask when you're walking around the parks/resorts even though it's extremely easy to stay 6 feet away from people, but you can remove the mask indoors to eat.

And you can remove your mask in the "rest areas" of the parks as if the virus will conveniently stay out of the area.

It all seems far more about compliance vs safety.

I was watching video of people on treads and Ellipticals in masks yesterday in Pa...

I can’t condone that. It’s silly to me. I hate running outside in the summer...I hate it.
But that’s what I’m doing...early or late by myself and staying well clear of anyone. It’s a small “sacrifice”...just my opinion.
