A lot have to for work

It's the increased testing from people that are either wanting to before going back to work, or getting tested when someone else at work gets sick (Covid or not). One of the reason there's been so many positive asymptomatic cases lately. And the high positive rate is getting people to go get themselves tested that otherwise wouldn't have, it definitely happened last week as the OCCC testing went from somewhat slow to slammed in the matter of 3 weeks.

I was in Northern California last weekend and went to a couple different casinos. Both had temperature checks but only 1 required face masks. I haven't heard anything of increased cases from that and with everything indoors and slot machines throughout I would expect something. If casinos can operate safely, why can't a theme park.
CA implemented a mask rule statewide this week. You got in under the buzzer. That casino risks fines and closure if it’s open without masks now.

You're completely distorting what people want.

People aren't being "forced" to return to work, people are being "allowed" to return to work. They are happy about this.
Is that why the California Disney union wrote a letter to Disneyland ask them to delay the opening because of the numbers? Is that why the actors union Here in Orlando submitted a request for Disney World to delay the opening because of the numbers? Is that way there’s over 12,000 signatures on the petition to delay the opening here in Orlando? Just wondering which employees you’re talking about.

That petition is from MoveOn.org, a left wing propaganda outlet, and is open to anyone in the world to sign. It is not a petition of Disney employees.

Oh PS don’t get it twisted LOL my husband loves his job and he loves the work he does and he loves working for that company… But he doesn’t want to risk his life doing it… And yes he risks his life by driving etc. but driving is something that he has some control over he can Pay attention to the cars and the other situations around him and he can control some of what he does while driving. He has absolutely no control over this all he can do is take the precautions but he cannot control the people around him and those of the people who put him at risk. He will continue to support his company and he loves them and he has been there for a very long time but it doesn’t mean that he wants to die at 44 years old because people want a churro and some dole whip.

I thought the spike in cases in FL was no big deal because it’s all young people who are asymptomatic but testing positive.
The spike in cases in FL is no big deal because it's primarily young people who are symptomatic but do not require hospitalization.

Level 1 - Asymptomatic
Level 2 - Symptomatic, recover at home
Level 3 - Symptomatic, requires hospitalization
Level 4 - Symptomatic, requires ICU
Level 5 - Fatal

Early on, our focus was on minimizing Level 4 because we didn't know if we had enough ventilators and, without a ventilator, a Level 4 because a Level 5 real quick. The surge we're seeing now is primarily Level 2, but we're keeping our eye on Level 3 to make sure we don't run out of beds.

Level 2 is not cause for concern, and it's where the vast majority of cases outside of nursing homes are.

Come on man, drive around your neighborhood for 30 seconds. Nobody outside of Online cares anymore. I live in Connecticut, which has arguably been the most strict state throughout this whole thing and people are having family over, cookouts, kids playing together, illegal tee ball practices, etc.

People are ready to live life again. They played nicely for three months and have now weighed the risks and have made their decision.

A very dear friend of mine has been sitting in her car in a hospital parking lot while her mom literally dies of cancer for two days and she's not allowed to see her. Not allowed to hold her hand and provide comfort in her last hours. Not allowed to say goodbye to the woman who raised her. That woman is going to die alone. Enough is enough, this has gone past "overkill" and it's now teetering on "evil and sadistic."

That's certainly a sad situation that your friend and her mother are going through. I lost my father just before this pandemic hit and would have gone insane if I couldn't visit him. But what does that have to do with the fact that not every WDW Cast Member is in their 20s or 30s? The only point I'm making is that there are older people working at WDW and they fall into the category of high-risk individuals as far as this virus is concerned, so the argument that young people at bars spreading the virus means Cast Members can't be concerned about returning to work isn't valid.

Can I see the source on that. I'm genuinely asking for it.

Yeah, it's totally possible to delay, which is what they're doing. They're just kicking the can down the road. Unless they stay locked down literally forever, they're going to have the same surge Florida has now whenever they decide to open.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAVE. Kicking the can down the road very funny. I live in a country that took this seriously from day 1. We are slowly opening back up and have yet to see the surge of cases from kicking it down the road. In fact my province had the lowest amount of cases since March with 111.

I REPEAT NOBODY IS SAYING STAY CLOSED FOREVER. Instead maybe take this virus seriously. 1 death is too many. Why not slow the reopening til it's under control. I look at what social distancing measures Ontario has done and question why it can't be done in Texas and Florida. We are in phase 2 now.

Construction is allowed. Malls are opening as well as restaurants but only patios. Some attractions are open but no theme parks yet. Those aren't expected to open for awhile. To get people to comply they have been fining people $800. They have handed out more then 900 tickets.
