Because it’s not mandatory or because it wouldn’t qualify? He is asking for social distancing including not having any crowds where it’s not possible to allow 6 feet of distance between people.I feel what the governor said indicates Disneyland won't close
what about the indoor spaces at the parks.Disneyland Paris wasn't required to follow the france rule, since it's an outdoor space.
why cancel public gatherings with 250 people but exempt ones with tens of thousands of people.Newsom has clarified that the parks are exempt from the crowd limit.
Disney needs to imagine the consequences if one of its parks becomes the center of a cluster. Not closing as soon as possible is the height of stupidity.
Moneywhy cancel public gatherings but exempt ones with tens of thousands of people.
Is there a petition to close WDW?
Even money won’t be a good enough excuse soon. It’s only a matter of time.Money
Exempt for now but how long can that last?Because the governor said Disneyland is exempt
what about the indoor spaces at the parks.
why cancel public gatherings with 250 people but exempt ones with tens of thousands of people.
Didn’t stop sports leagues, major concerts and even airline travel bans. All will have major economic impacts too.Because economical collapse and public health/safety is a fine balance.
Yep. The second DL closes, every other theme park in CA closes too.... Putting 100k people out of work (theme parks, hotels, restaurants, anything that relies on the industry) can't be something they take lightly.Because economical collapse and public health/safety is a fine balance.
A lot of these have more spread out economic impacts. This would be highly localized. Then why did the NBA, MLB, NHL, SxSW, Final Four, Coachella shut down.
Yep, late to the thread, appologies.I don't drive.
You're late to this thread, aren't you?

Agreed. But don't venture into a Coronavirus topic unless you're prepared to shake your fists at humanity. Actually, any topic...
it's always a zoo at Walmart
I've been wondering where a few of the posters that were all over this thread earlier had gone
Their workers get paid $60,000 and their government is supporting people who are out of work.Tokyo Disneyland and Universal Japan have been closed for weeks. They seem to be doing okay over there.
I find shaking fists at humanity to be a prime example of a useless waste of time, and therefore don't take part. I'm willing to offer a shaking head occasionally, and perhaps a smirk, but otherwise reserve my efforts for more productive pursuits.
