We stayed in Castitas #4 and I liked it because I was close to the first bus stop to pick up in CSR. Even though bussing is one of the best things about CSR, (being the only resort on the route) it is nice to have a seat in the morning and also nice to get off the bus right away after a long day and night at the parks. It is also about even distance between the food court and the main pool. The gym and lap pool are right there if you are into that, and the laundry room is right behind the gym. One thing nice I liked about CSR is if or I should say when it rains you can get from the main building and food court under walkways and balconies the whole way and stay dry. This is a plus.
Don't forget to take an evening walk through the resort. It is enchanting at night with the lights glimmering off of the lake. Then of course finish it off with a margarita. :slurp:

Have fun and enjoy Coronado

Hey there, This is a copy of the map for Coronado, To be close to the food area request the Casitas. Id say Building 2 or 4 are equally good for location. To be near the main pool request the Rancheros, however this is far from the Main building which s where all the food court and restaurants are. When yuo get there take a walk around the lake to help you to decide which area you'd like to be in. So far I have never been dissappointed there!! Have a great time!!! Belle

We stayed a couple of times in Casitas #1. This is the closest building to El Centro and you can get to the elevator to the building without having to go outside. If you pass beyond the Pepper Market and the Bar and turn right as soon as you get to the convention area, there is a hallway that leads to an elevator that will take you to all the floors of Casitas #1. It was great when we were really tired on those very hot days to be able to get out of the heat just a little bit quicker.

And if you are willing to pay a bit more you can get a great view of the lake and Pyramid in that building.

When it comes to Coronado Springs, wannabeBelle is all-knowing!

I was in recently Casitas, building 4 and couldn't have been better located. Short walk to main building, or to Dig Site Pool, and shortest walk of all was to quiet pool or bus stop. Have a great trip!

Having just recently stayed in Casitas building 3, I would recommend it because it was a short walk from the main building. But Casitas building 2 was in a better location, so that's my recommendation.
