corny CoP line

I carried the one I pictured here shooting on an archery range in the woods all the time. The old analogs got much better reception and I stayed with that one way after the digital phones came out. I don't know if that one would even work on the networks now-a-days, though.

I have always kept my phones too long, Alltel notified me I had to update to a newer phone or they were going to cut the service off. Needless to say-I have a newer phone now. I always think the reception is worse with my new one though.

Yeah it is like that. Still when I drive through the Ocala National Forest I totally lose reception and that is the same place I would go deep into the woods with that old bag phone and still have perfect reception.

 It's deevolution, I tell ya!

INDEED! Long live analog! Down with digital (no matter how good they say it is.)

Actually our local cable tried to upgrade to an all digital signal and the quality was so bad they had to go back to analog again just to meet minimum standards. I guess they have to upgrade by Feb. 09 now....so that will be interesting. Ah Technology!:p

Yeah, but can it get text messages?? :ROFLOL:

And back on topic, the end scene will always be flawed because of the rate technology evolves. You could put the most up to date tech stuff in there and it will look old to you in 5 years. I can hear it now, "look at that old stupid 2nd gen iPhone and Wii. How 2008!"

The closest thing to a solution would be to make the last scene way in the future but even that might become outdated in less than a decade.

"Remember when we had to deal with quantum computers?"

"Yeah, now we are not restricted to transferring only 1 yottabyte per second it used to take 8 or 9 seconds to transfer those one hour 108000000p mega high definition holograms."

Simple reason... since you didn't put the actual antenna up to your head, the power output could be up to 3-5 watts. Handheld phones are limited to roughly 0.5 watts, max, so you don't fry your noggin.

Sooo.... CoP...

So true. With a 5 watt cell phone you could end up looking like this.
