I just went outside for a quick cig break in the "Designated smoking area" for the skyscraper I work in... And I saw a License plate that said " WNIPOO 2 "

I thought it was kinda kewl. :)

That is cool. I visited my cousin in Illinois and all the cars had personalized plates. I guess they don't charge extra over there (as long as there were letters and numbers). It was fun reading them all. :)

They Charge...BIG TIME...It is the IL Secretary Of State way. Huge bucks for any kind of plates here in IL....(especially for Vanity). :hurl:

Though, I have WI Plates on my car...and it’s only like an extra 50bucks for vanity plates in WI...if I decided to get some.;)

alberrisford, if you like architecture, you’d love chicago.

some of the greatest architects of the 20th century built here – daniel burnham, louis sullivan, john root, william jenney, mies van der rhoe, frank lloyd wright and helmut jahn.

the city is currently building a new public music pavilion designed by frank gehry, the same guy who designed the guggenheim museum in bilbao, spain, and the disney concert hall in los angeles.

(this post was not sponsored by the chicago convention & visitors bureau.)

Does the Hancock Center have a private club on the upper floor? I remember going to dinner on the top floor of a very high building when I was there last. My sister-in-law lives on Marine drive, looking over the lake and the city golf course. We always enjoy visiting there...but only in the summer! ;)
