contest on the ten oclock new about a mickey gold statue

so i was watching the news just now and they mentioned something about a contest and how whoever wins gets a golden mickey statue. they showed the press taking pics, and how it was is a glass display case. i also heard something along the lines of dvd and may, anybody know.
