Last concert I got to go to was a show featuring:

Verona Grove(nice rock band from Wisconsin)
The Juliet Dagger(rockers from Buffalo, NY)
Shonen Knife(Punk rockers from Japan who have been around for years)
and
Dinosaur Jr.(We left before they started since it was getting late and we were mostly there for the first three bands anyway).

I don't know what the next opportunity I'll have for a concert is going to be, but I'll be looking out for ones that a) interest me and b) I can actually afford.

I just went to The bamboozle (both days) with my daughter and her friend. I may do Warped Tour with her, or I may let her go without me, not sure which.

Dave Matthews Band is finally coming back to St. Louis this year. Might end up being the only show I go to this year since I missed Jimmy Buffet.

FINALLY..a thread right up my alley!!! :ROFLOL:Gosh, it would be easier for me to say who I haven't seen or aren't going to see really. I hit up as many concerts as I possibly can with either my 16 year old daughter (we like the same music), my wife or my friends. Just saw the Foo Fighters last month and want to go to the Vans Warped tour when it comes to Detroit this summer. But the Black Crowes, Bon Jovi and Motley Crue are actually playing in my city that same day/week. Saw the Honda Civic tour with Fall Out Boy last summer, Ozzfest last summer, Van Halen with Dave a few months ago, Panic At The Disco, Alexisonfire, Plain White T's before they hit it big, blink -182 before they broke up (Angels & Airwaves and +44 after they broke up) and on and on. Like I said, easier saying who I haven't seen. :p

Well... I want to see Jimmy Buffett, Ringo Starr, and Elton John, but I don't know if any of those are happening.

Jimmy Buffett is touring now, but he does what I call "mini tours". He will hit a few cities, go home and then go back out on the road. I think he is seldom on the road during the weekends. Ringo Starr toured last summer. He is high on my list, too, so hopefully he will tour again soon. Elton has a standing thing at Harrah's/Caeser's in Vegas. He did tour last year - I caught him in October. Best place to go to check who is touring and where they will be is pollstar.com. You can check venue, artist or city.

I'll be seeing Rush twice this summer, first in Toronto, then in Hershey, PA. I also might be seeing Radiohead in Philadelphia.

In Chattanooga every year they have a 9 day music festival called Riverbend. This year some of the performers will be America, the Black Crowes and ZZ Top, and gospel, country and soul performers also. It's one price admission for all 9 days.

Just saw The Police Saturday in West Palm Beach at Cruzan Amphitheatre. I didn't know they could jam so many people there. I thought I was at Epcot on New Years Eve.

Most Rush fans do this - catch multiple shows. :ROFLOL:

We just went to see Jackson Browne this year...terrific show. I'm a concert junkie, too, but this year money is tight because we are getting a bigger mobile home so I can't splurge so much.

Duran Duran put on a great show a few years ago - I danced the whole concert and I'm pretty sure I lost 5 pounds. Tom Petty is awesome, also.

I'd also love to see Jethro Tull.....

Went to the Glow in the Dark Tour (Kanye West with Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D. & Rihanna) in Miami on the 6th. Awesome show.

Next up is Lil Wayne, Akon & Keyshia Cole on June 28th in Sunrise... can't wait.
