Trip Report **COMPLETED** Our HalloChristmas Adventure

Hey everyone - since I finally finished my other trip report I will get to this super delayed one

Who?
The usuals: my Mom (Mary) and myself (Megan) PLUS special guest --- my Dad (Jeff)!

Where?
The Yacht Club! We actually changed from the Beach Club last minute and I was so excited. We love the Yacht Club way more for some reason and we were excited to share that love with my Dad.

When?
October 29 - November 6, 2021

Why?
My Dad has not been to Disney since pre-COVID so we planned this trip forever ago to bring him back! He does not do well in the heat so we chose a cooler time of year (aka not our July trip) for him

Day 1 October 29, 2021
I got up at 3 am, got ready and waited for my parents to pick me up at 4 am.
Our airport drive and check-in/TSA experience went super fast. We grabbed some bagels for breakfast.

Then waited at the gate.

I assumed this is how all my photos with my Dad would look but he did better

We boarded our plane and left on time! How unusual

Our flight was very easy and we actually landed quite early ! Woohoo!

Sounds like the perfect Epcot/Pool day to me! We always enjoy our meal and the presentation of dinner at Teppan Edo. I love your beautiful Mickey pleated skirt you wore to dinner!!! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the new fireworks show so much.

Day 6 November 3, 2022
We got up around 6:30 am, got ready and headed down to the Market for breakfast.
I got this 50th Anniversary pastry (it got a little squished). It was essentially like a pop tart - it was delicious !

Another beautiful day outside ! We walked to DHS and saw another hot air balloon (way out in the distance).

It was Christmas !

We headed right to Toy Story Land and SDD of course.
We were in line pretty early but of course it was a delayed start again
I took some photos while we waited.

Thankfully it was a much shorter delayed start this time and it opened after about 15 or so minutes.

After our ride we planned on riding Tower of Terror but that was closed (and was for most of the day) so we did TSM instead.

The wait times were super long after this so we kind of wandered around a bit and took some photos.

Yes....yes indeed.

Everything honestly had such a long wait so we decided to go to the Muppets

Then we ....watched the vacation short again. I'm kind of obsessed with it

Then it was time for lunch again at ....Backlot Express. I don't know why we always go here. Well I do actually - it is because it is consistently delicious.

We walked back to the Yacht Club after this.
They were starting to set up for the race weekend !

My Mom and I headed to get some treats at the Screen Door General Store

We took this fake grass picture to send to my sister to tell her we missed her. We took a similar photo last trip that she was on with us!

We once grabbed a Remy BG from our house the day we flew in - of course got #3 - but when we eventually did get into EPCOT that day (around 4?) and they were on BG a million and they let us ride. Not that it matters anymore!

Me too! I also love TSM but SDD will always have my heart

Day 6 continued
My Mom and I actually went to Disney Springs after this. Why, you may ask? Because we were convinced the Christmas merchandise would be out. We were....incorrect
We ended up going to a few non Disney stores before heading back to the Yacht Club.
Then we joined my Dad at the pool.

After our pool time it was back to the room to get ready for the evening.
This is one of the cookies we got earlier in the day for my Dad (aka for us to eat really )

Then we headed to the Skyliner so we could take it to DHS!

We saw Mickey and Minnie when we walked in the park!

We headed right to our dinner spot - Mama Melroses

They were running behind so I took some random photos while we waited.

Finally our table was ready. It was PACKED in there! It was the most crowded I think I have ever seen a Disney restaurant since COVID.

My Mom got spaghetti and meatballs

My Dad got calamari and a Caesar salad

And I got the strip steak (duh....I'm really just here for the Mac and cheese)

Yum. Everything was delicious !
I bought a LL earlier in the day for Runaway Railway so we headed there after dinner.
