Trip Report **Complete** It's a meet-up-palooza!

We are back and I gotta get this trip report show on the road before my memory fails! Hopefully my notes and pictures will carry me!

When: Sept 14th - 16th and Sept 16th - 24th, 2019

Ending thoughts and things I forgot to say or show.

We really enjoyed the longer trip this time... 10 days allowed us to have some down time at the beginning, and it also allowed for us to go at a slower pace this time and not be in the parks all day. (especially for Scott, going back to nap really helps his disposition!)

It was hot at the beginning of our trip, and less hot at the end... never "just right" but I'll take "Less hot"!

One thing I never mentioned was the return of the love bugs. They weren't near what they were in the spring from others reports, but they were around... being somewhat annoying...

I have regrets! I never got a Mickey bar or a Citrus Swirl this time. I also regret that I only went once to Amarette's!
I regret not taking back the burnt brazilian cheese bread for a fresher newer one.... I liked it... but I would have LOVED it had it been less well done.

Another thing I forgot to mention (because I took ZERO pictures apparently) is that went spent a ton of time at the aquarium in the seas.... we hadn't gone upstairs the last time... and we got to see some amazing sharks/rays that we've never seen before.

The night we went to AK Lodge, after dinner instead of going straight back to the resort... we found the smoking area out front where we met a lot of interesting people from the UK ... and we stayed there chatting for quite some time! We also saw a baby possum poke it's head out from the bushes.. and the gal from the UK was enamored... The other thing I got at the AK Lodge that I forgot to mention, was these most awesome sticky notes!

They are the most expensive sticky notes I've ever purchased... but I HAD TO HAVE THEM!

All in all it was a good trip... all the flights were good... the stays were good. (except for having to smoosh a cockroach) and we enjoyed ourselves!

And with that, the trip is over. I'm not sure when we will be back... we were talking about maybe Vegas next...

What a fun TR! Thank you, and happy to know that you both had such a great and relaxing time, with those extra days. Curious -- in FOP, how was the 2nd time on it? Did you notice more or enjoy it more, or just the same as the first time on it? (I went on it a year ago, and really enjoyed it. I was thinking that I'd probably experience more on a 2nd time, as I was sort of in awe, the first time.)

Technically it was our 3rd time if we count the prior trip. We love it EVERY time... the only thing I did notice is that it didn't seem as crisp as the very first time we rode it. My guess is that the glasses they have you wear are getting worn out and need to be replaced. That ride is still THE BEST ride in the parks!
