Trip Report **Complete** It's a meet-up-palooza!

We are back and I gotta get this trip report show on the road before my memory fails! Hopefully my notes and pictures will carry me!

When: Sept 14th - 16th and Sept 16th - 24th, 2019

I forgot to add when we did get back to the resort I stopped at the front desk to find out what was up with the charging issues. Apparently with split stays they sometimes have a problem with the credit card carrying over? Sounded like an excuse to me! The manager put the credit card in again and fixed us right up. No issues with charging after that.

Trip before last, in May, my band would not open door, or charge. They never fixed it. I gave up and just had B always use his. We did do a split stay then- we had APs and it worked at Ft Wilderness Cabins, would not at Coronado. My phone would unlock door tho. I don’t think they know, tbh. At least you had a CC on you. I typically leave mine locked up. 😑

I like mine with me just for this reason. I have an RIFD wallet that I use on vacation so no one can skim my numbers.

The same thing happened to us! We were fine charing at AoA and then when we switched to POP, the charging privileges didn't carry over. I didn't realize until I added a tip to one of our bills and the waitress said I didn't have changing privileges! I would think that they would mention that at check-in.

Sept 17th Continued.

After resting, we changed into our halloween tshirts, and went back to Magic Kingdom around 4pm. We had a Fastpass at 505p for 7dmt... but before that, I wanted dinner... and I finally got what I wanted! A Lobster roll at Columbia Harbour House. Unlike some reports I've read, my Lobster Roll had plenty of Lobster... and it was very tasty! Scott got some combination fried plate with Chicken fish and shrimp?

We both were very happy with our meals.

We made it to our 7dmt Fast Pass

Per my notes we rode on people mover (scott still doesn't like it) and then Pirates of the Caribbean was up for the party...Front row! My face says omgee omgee here comes the drop!

We waited in line for some candy at the Monsters Inc attraction. We tried to go on Buzz since it showed a 20 minute wait... but 20 minutes came and went and we still weren't in the building, so we got out of line. You can kind of see our shirts in this picture... Scott's is Mickey and mine was Minnie... and my eyeballs blinked in different intervals... I put them on slow as I didn't want to give anyone a seizure. We had 2 sets, but only one worked... (they were super cheap) Still a bummer.

After this we walked the Terrace for our Dessert Party. Now... we mainly buy this for the garden viewing... of course we sampled a few treats, but we were soon done.

Got to try the cheeseburger eggrolls which were pretty good... but the dip was really tasty.

The chocolate covered strawberries were the best... The rest was just ok... but as I said, we mostly book it for THIS lovely space.

This was early, but there was still lots of room to move. The CM let the ECVs ride right up to the gate, and assured us that the fireworks staff keep that area clean... which they did. We were down there early, so we got to see the first parade come thru. It's not excellent viewing from there... but good enough so that I didn't feel like I needed to stay for the later one. Also... they play ONE song thru the entire parade and I was OVER it, by the time the parade was done!

I really liked the fireworks and projections.

After the fireworks we decided to take our leave... that being said, we would not do one MNSSHP again. They sell TOO many tickets, it was packed and annoying. We don't wait for character meetups... and Scott was put out by the long lines for trick or treating... this will be a once and done for us.

The night before Scott said he wanted to sleep in a little (9am) and somehow, I was able to modify all our fast passes to about an hour later than they were previously.

First up Soarin... this time we got C row 2... so very bent eiffel tower for us!

While we were waiting in line, I was able to modify Living with the land so we would be able to just walk right over after we were done.

We got the front row, which was nice! This picture is of the breadfruit at the middle top... we've had it in Jamaica, it's pretty tasty.

I was amazed at how huge Jackfruit is... It amazes me when I see it used as "vegetarian bbq"

Next we went to spaceship earth, but it was down, so we were headed towards figment (around the huge construction walls) when Scott found the first Food & Wine booth, Coastal Eats... this is where an unintential magician meetup happened! Look who found us! It's @dclfan !!

It was so nice to finally meet her after we didn't get to connect in 2018. I'm glad she saw me, because I'm generally oblivious, so I may not have seen her!

I have to apologize for my epcot days... for the most part, I was a total failure on photographing all of our food from the booths... I'm not sure what my malfunction was! So some of these photos are borrowed.

Scott had the

Scott said he tostada was very tasty, and my dip was excellent... at one point I accidentally flung my scallop into Scotts lap. He was glad to eat it... OOPS!

He also got a beer from Shorts brewing...it's a beer we can get here at home.. that they have nicknamed the panty dropper, because it's so fruity that most of the girls love it... and it's pretty high in % that it doesn't take much. I had a sip, and it was indeed tasty! (and I don't like beer)

After our meet up and tasty treats, I checked the app, and SE was back up, so we backtracked yet again to go ride in the ball.

Next on our way to WS, we stopped at the Cheese Studio and I got.

My version didn't look quite as nice... and this was just ok. I probably wouldn't get it again.

Next we visited Canada... but we didn't see anything in the shop that we had to have, and even though I wanted to try the filet and the cheddar soup at the booth, it was hot, and these didn't sound good right now.

Apparently though, we just kept eating our way to WS, as our next stop was Ireland.

And I splurge and got a Guinness Baileys Shake... and I don't regret it.. I love baileys, but dislike beer, so I didn't know how I would feel about this.. but it tasted like Bailey's more than beer, so I was happy.
