Good grief, I read back and even THIS thread seems to have devolved into mostly a salute to strollers and scooters, but, mostly scooters thread. (sarcasm intended).
When we took my MIL to WDW in the summer of '13 there was no way she was gonna' make it through the parks without a scooter. She was 78 then (83 now), and had been working her rear off for all her life, and then cleaning houses for a coupla' decades after a divorce.
She was convinced she was going to be a burden to us and almost decided not to go. We finally convinced her she was definitely not gonna' be a burden to us, and talked her into going. She had never been to WDW in her life, and she ended up having the time of her life...!!!!!
How did this also turn into a stroller/scooter thread?!?!?!
Come on man!

Why can't we all just get along and agree that there are people in need.
Come on man!

I just don't know why they do this. Infants and even young children just don't remember. I waited until my youngest was 6 so he could ride on everything and when I ask him now if he remembers anything about it he says no.
We took ours for the first time when they were 2 1/2 and 7 and were immediately kicking ourselves for not bringing our oldest when he was that little. Our youngest absolutely remembered and his face lit up every time he saw pictures of the trip, Mickey on TV or a picture of the castle in between his first and second trips. He's 6 now and he's been 3 times and constantly asks to go back.

My two were 3 and 6 and it was the best trip, we still talk about it!

Replacing the 3:00 Festival of Fantasy Parade in MK for the Christmas Parade instead of showing that as a nighttime parade. Come on man!
