Combining gift cards

So, in preparation for our trip in February, for the past few months we've been buying a $25 Disney gift card every week at the grocery store for spending money while we're down there. One drawback we didn't consider is that we now have a huge stack of gift cards to keep track of  Does anyone know if there is a way to consolidate them into 1 or 2 cards? I don't know where we'd even go for that... Probably not possible but I thought I'd ask the experts! :)

I wonder if you take them to a Disney store if they would be able to help you. Buy on gift care for the total and pay for it with the stack you have???? I know at the Disney stores you can get one for anywhere from $10 - $1500. Might be worth a call. And if they can and you dont have one close maybe you can do it at the World of Disney in Downtown.

Are you staying on property? If you can't consolidate, you might consider putting what you think you will use on your room account and spend them through your Key to the World Card. I believe this can be done.

At the end of our trip in December, what I had left ( of MANY cards), I just put them onto the bill that we had aquired thru the week, it was rather tedious for the desk CM, but it sure helped on what was left!

While not as bad as a stack of $25 cards, I had a stack of about 6 cards, a mix of pre-paid American Express cards I'd gotten as gifts and $50/$100 Disney gift cards I got myself. The day before checkout I spent 15 minutes at the Lobby Concierge paying down the balance.

Every year for the holidays we always get MC and AMEX gift cards from family members. We forget to use them and take them with us when we go out. So, we just used them all and applied them to our Disney trip...didn't know we could do that but we took a shot and it worked. Pretty neat.:)
