college program interview schedule

My daughter is wanting to do the college program in Spring 09 and has signed up to recieve the emails notifying her of when they are doing interviews in the area. But she was curious if anyone could tell her about what time during the fall they started doing the interviews. If anyone knows she would greatly appriciate it.

Disney should start recruiting for Spring 2009 around late Sept.

I have a quick question. My son is applying for Spring '09 and the presentation at his school isn't until mid-November. If it takes 2-3 weeks to hear a response - that puts you at end of November, beginning of December. If hired, you start early January. That doesn't sound like much time to do take care of lose ends before you'd have to leave. Is this normal?

There is another presentation at another school nearby that is in September, do you suggest he go to that one instead?

Yes, that is normal. If you want to have everything taken care of early, I recommend going to another presentation, or doing the online presentation. I did the same thing back in 2006 (I wanted to audition, and my school's presentation was a week after the audition. So I did the online presentation).

Just so you know, the application process started today if you are doing the e-presentation if you dont want to wait for the campus presentation.
