while there isn't much one can say to redeem new coke, Classic Coke will always stand above Pepsi.

Diet Coke wins over the Pepsi versions available in UK.

My favourite soft drink is Diet Mountain Dew, but the Pepsi people will not sell it over here.

Coke if out of a fountain-like disney for instance. Pepsi if out of a can or 2 liter. The taste is different to me, my wife pointed that out 8 years ago and I thought she was crazy at first ,but like many other things...she ended up right.

If I remember right, didn't they change Crystal Pepsi in a futile attempt to keep it on the market.

Originally Crystal Pepsi was just Pepsi non-colored, then I think it came back out with a fruity twist or something like that. Am I crazy or do others remember this odd incarnation?

I think New Coke was launched in the UK sometime in the early eighties from what I recal and it tasted worse than generic shop brand ultra value cola. It did not last long over here. As for Crystal Pepsi - it's yet to make it over The Pond.

When I still drank regular soda it was, without a doubt, Coke over Pepsi. The new Coke actually tasted a little like Pepsi (to me). From a dieting perspective, looking only at the two main cola's, I vote for Diet Coke everyday and twice on Sundays.

This has prompted an obvious question for a WDW virgin...what brand is served in the parks?

I have some crystal pepsi here still...i wouldnt DRINK it (god...who knows the shelf life of these things anyway?)..its more of a nostolgia thing.

Just a side note..im "lucky" enough to live in a key test market for most companies..so i have lots of drinks/foods here that no one else does for testing purposes...this isnt always a good thing (for example..blue pepsi back when it was Mountain dew: code blue...ewwww)
