Coke!!!!
(however, those new Pepsi advertisements (Brinatey) are really good:D )
Anyway... does anybody knows if Disney used to manage Pepsi before? What one of my managers explained me a few years ago is that Disney used to sell both, Coke and Pepsi... however they had a problem with Pepsi and banned it from the resort... she also told me that you can still find several Pepsi vending machines at backstage... never seen one myself.

As a Pepsi drinker, I know that it hasn't been sold at WDW since 1982 (my first trip) It's also more likely that Coke got an exclusive deal with Disney...ie, we'll give you a better deal if you agree not to sell Pepsi, or even, if you sell Pepsi, you can't sell Coke! Since the average cola drinker prefers Coke, Disney couldn't risk losing their product. Of course, this is all speculation on my part! ;)

What I prefer is ...

Dr. Pepper! But since that's not an option, and I DO prefer Pepsi over Coke, I voted for Pepsi. And as Goofette said/asked, I think Dr. Pepper IS a Pepsi Product??

To Quote Goofyguy:
And as any self-respecting Texan knows, Dr. Pepper is the king of soft drinks.

Now, while I am NOT a Texan (hailing from the Great State of Confusion! I mean, Missouri! ), I DO consider Dr. Pepper to be #1 on my list of soft drinks, with Mello Yellow being very good as well. And I like Mr. Pibb, Sassafras, A&W Root Beer (directly from the restaraunt, from the TAP is BEST!:slurp: ), and Barqs Rootbeer. About once a year I'm able to get bottles of "Bud's Home-Made Root Beer", at a Black Powder Rendezvous, but then I usually hang on to it too long, without drinking it, and it spoils. It's Goo-OOD! :slurp: :slurp:

For the record, Polar Bear is tasty, but I prefer a nice baby Leopard Seal, with BBQ Sauce! Nummy! :slurp:

Dr. Pepper is independent. It's often sold with both Pepsi and Coke. It depends on the place.

Disney has a contract with Coke. They don't sell Dr. Pepper.
McDonald's has a contract with Coke. They sell Dr. Pepper.

I guess they have Mr. Pibb in the parks instead of Dr. Pepper then :( ? I may have to smuggle in DP. I'll probably just be wanting water though when I'm there, so i guess I'll be smuggling water bottles in.:)

Hey Coke lovers, help me out here...! Can´t remember the whole thing... I was too young and still learning English! I can only remember a few lines but I´m not even sure if those are the correct lyrics!

So pleeease, feel free to correct it... actually... please do so!! I´m sure it is all wrong! I used to love this commercial and I think the teacher told us the lyrics when I was in 6th grade of elementary... 20 years ago! ouch... that hurt! :(

I´d like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony
grow apple trees and .....................................
blablablabla

I´d like to teach the world a song........ what else???

I´d like to build the world a home and furnish it with love
and hear the echo through the hills for peace throughout the land.

It´s the real thing, what the world wants today, what the world needs today, it´s the real thing.

Sorry.. I´m having major flashbacks of only portions of the song and can´t get it out of my mind! Don´t you hate that??

Maria...so you don't go crazy:hammer:

That "Coke" song was adapted from a hit song from the early 70's. It was done by a group called The New Seekers and was titled I'd Like To Teach The World To sing.

Here are the Lyrics.

I'd like to build the world a home
and furnish it with Love.
Grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves.

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony.
I'd like to hold it in my arms
and keep it company.

I'd like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand
and hear them echo through the hills
for peace throughout the land.

SO there you have it... :)

Can you tell... I'm a big music fan...I espcially like music from the 50's 60's and 70's
