I say Fantasia.
The forced perspective and the tallest spire that towers over the rest of the castleQuestion to the group: what about any Disney castle do you find impressive? Trying to pull together a vision board first, because I'm such a poor sketcher.
The sheer elegance and sleekness of design at WDW. It's majestic without going overboard by being too big, gaudy, and overpowering.Question to the group: what about any Disney castle do you find impressive? Trying to pull together a vision board first, because I'm such a poor sketcher.
YES! That is a really cool aspect of Paris' castle! I also agree about Cinderella Castle. The sheer elegance and sleekness of design at WDW. It's majestic without going overboard by being too big, gaudy, and overpowering.
Also, what I like about Disneyland Paris, the castle seems to be built into the land and not just set down at the edge of a concrete circle.

Forced perspective and a feeling of peace. It might be simply from it being a Disney Park but I never feel like I'm truly in Disney World or Disneyland until I see the castle. It's like a homing signal that you're in a place of relaxation and calm.Question to the group: what about any Disney castle do you find impressive? That is until you get run over by a stroller...a screaming kid drops a mickey bar on your foot, a scooter beeps at you to walk faster, and you're surrounded by a mob of Brazilian tourists.
But for that brief second of peace it is worth it!
There's benches on the 2nd floor of the main street station -- that's the only hope hahaAgreed!
Wish there was a way to have upper levels of any of the castles to relax It'd be awesome to have some chairs in quiet indoor/outdoor areas to just look over the park and chill. Kinda get some peace in a park similar to the relaxation at the Grand Floridian or something.
Now what is going to be really interesting, if they pull it off, is Hong Kong's castle expansion. Personally, it's a bit much for me:

Honestly...everything in China is a little much for me.Eh, yeah it's a little much..... Little too much gold for me personally.
I've always thought a massive castle with a terrace roof garden restaurant/cafe would be lit. Maybe an exclusive club like club 33?There's benches on the 2nd floor of the main street station -- that's the only hope haha

Haha you're good - glad to see you back!Honestly...everything in China is a little much for me.
I read recently that HKDL is actually struggling a bit and not reaching its mark. Apparently its put the expansion on hold. Disney only holds a 45% interest or so in the park and the Chinese government is getting iffy.
But I apologize for spamming y'all with so much concept art, but hey when Sam goes away he brings back eye candy for everyone.
