For the TB restaurant at Fantasia Gardens, I thought about having the restaurant based around Symphony 6 (Pastoral); which is the segment with the pegasids and unicorns.
What do you guys think?

I think it would be cool to have a fancy restaurant themed to a more French Revolution like palace with murals of Fantasia scenes

Does anyone else have opinions on which direction to go with the parade? By film or by theme?
I really think you have a good, solid lineup -- no complaints from me!

By film would be the simpler option. By theme would be more difficult but could be a better result.

While a bit longer, I do think the film one could lead to unique float designs like you mentioned.

One of the first ideas that came to mind was a Be Our Guest float similar to this
With more music type touches on the cake and a ballroom for Belle and Beast where that giant Beast statue stands.

Another thing we need to consider character and entertainment wise: weather. It can get really hot in Australia and the fact that almost all our characters will be roaming will mean we can't go overboard with the fur because those things are hot on a good day and an absolute sauna on a bad one. How do we avoid this? Well the obvious solution is have more face characters and streetmosphere. Another solution is looking into how we would organize and time sets. Could an AC'd Mickey M&G in Fantasia Gardens be expanded into a Fab Five/Sensational Six M&G? Disney has no lack of Sorcerer costumes for characters that could be recycled.

It seems like Option 2 for the parade got the better reception so I'll be going with that design.

Based on @Angels and Disney's advice -- I'm going to try and go through Tomorrowland to see how we can make the restaurants/shops more unique. If anyone has any thoughts/opinions/or interests in what to include feel free to add it in!
