The issue with that is animal kingdom wilderness theme is loose enough for pandora to fit. However, what if the park was composed of two circles? The inner circle would be based on earth environments, while the outer circle would be based on space and solar system environments, featuring Star Wars most prominently.
That could work -- I wonder if we could even use an hourglass shape to the park?

Enter in the middle of the hour glass, then veer off into earth environments and then other worldly environements?

This might also be a good place for some rides we had thought of like Treasure Planet

Hmm, this circle idea has value. The outer circle can be fantasy settings, the inner circle the real world settings which inspired them.

Or something with mythology. Star Wars is essentially America's modern myth, especially with its Campbellian influence, so that's a way it could be tied in with other ideas from every continent maybe.

I like the hourglass idea, I just don't know how it would work for large scale parks. It would work well for two similar yet different lands in close proximity of another, but as a park, it feels like two separate parks (you might as well just make three parks at that point).

For the hourglass I'm thinking something like turning Epcot on its side so there would be a wide enough entrance

I think even Epcot is referred to with an hourglass shape?

Regardless -- build a wide enough entrance, and maybe have some form of transportation from one side to the other (boat, skyway, anything) to separate earth from other wordly.

Ok I see what you're talking about. But again, that's my major complaint about Epcot. It's two separate parks connected loosely by one theme.

So if we go with another Animal Kingdom-like theme park, we should make the inner circles about certain Earth continents environments; with the entrance zone being not set on a continent; whilst the outer circles zones have Sci-Fi (like Avatar and Star Wars( the latter would work best if we use some of the more interesting planets environments; like Dagobah(we should also come up with a few original planets too) and mythological themes. But are we going to do prehistoric themes and if so, which circle do we put it?

That's hard. I see Small World as being a good icon for the park to tie the cultures in. But having a Pangaea circular land in the centre would be nice too.

Lol that face.

I kinda agree with small world being a neat icon...or at least the entrance or something prominent. small world is a prayer for world peace so it does define the cultural unity that would be seen throughout the continent based areas.

Also -- this might be best as a separate thread? Club 32 2nd Park Brainstorming Thread? Because I could see people coming in and getting confused with what we are discussing. :p
