its awful.

i reviewed it a few months ago and had this to say:

Reviewer's Comments:
Summary: Wretched!

This is quite possibly the worst ride ever conceived in any human beings mind. The fact that its been around so long and so many people like it, point to the degradation of our society. The only reason you should ride this ride is if you want to mentally and quite possibly physically injure the person you would ride it with. I believe Dante perceived "It's a Small World" the ride as the 6th circle of hell. Avoid at all costs. AT ALL COSTS!

-as you can tell i think this ride is way past its prime and costing us money that could be used on better things. people, JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS OLD DOES NOT MAKE IT GOOD. i understand some still enjoy this ride. i appreciate that, but the overwhelming consensus is this ride is a waste of good space.

make a new ride! a tarzan ride! or beauty and the beast! or something NEW.

Exactly, Its an alright ride, maybe annoying but whenever someone bad mouths Small World, always remeber its a classic, and you dont want to get rid of too many, classics

As horrible as you think it is, and many others do too, you can't close a classic.

I was at WDW in January, and I do not recall the sign that stated the rule saying that every guest was forced to ride it.

I hate the stupid tree house, so I CHOOSE not to waste time on it.

Maybe you should do the same with Small World. I do.:D

I like the Line Ride (tree house), but I distess IaSW, but I would never want to see it go. For one thing, it is a ride for the littlest of kids, and another, it is more of a work of art celebrating the world. But I would like the see the loading/unloading outside or see the ride moved to Epcot.

I agree with bsanderjr
Its a small world is a classic. It is one of my favorite rides in the whole park. If you font like it, stay off of it like i also do with the tree house. :snore:

One of the best things about it is that there is never a long line, you can just walk in and get on the boat.(most of the time)

well smith aren't you just the rude one!!! tell me do you have children??? small world was never on my fav list of to do rides at disney till i had children, you see it from a different point of view when you see it through a childs eye. to see how my daughter reacted when she rode this ride was priceless!! or even when she heres the song, yes i know it may be annoying at times but when i see how happy my little girl gets i must say it now one of my favs!! i know i'm not the only one. i love all the old rides i even miss 20,000 leages under the sea yes i agree that there should be newer rides but why take away the older ones, the ones that made disney world what it is today, besides the characters. sorry but to take away small world would be wrong! gee whats next ,micky's getting kind of shabby lets take him away too!! I think not!!!:( :( :( :( :(

There are plenty of things I'd like to see go before IASW, and not because it's a "classic." It's well-designed, with an optimistic message, and it has aged well, in my opinion. I wouldn't be willing to say any of that about the Speedway.

My wife and I ride Small World every OTHER trip so we don't get sick of it.

I am one of the few people on this board that enjoy the Treehouse as well.

There's alot to see if you look around and I find the tree itself to be an amazing structure.

If you have ever built a tree house/Fort as a child then you get a better perspective on how cool this tree really is.:)

I agree with you. IASW can be really irritating if you go in with an "adult" point of view...but I find that anytime I'm able to put that aside and experience the ride with an open mind, I get a really nice feeling from being on it. Reason enough to keep it in my book. :)

It was my favorite ride when I was 5... and it still is one of my favorites, believe it or not. I would be really upset if it was gone.

I like Swiss family Treehouse as well. It is full of detail and is an entertaining walkthrough...You gotta love the ingenious plumming system!:D

Afterall, it's not like the treehouse is taking up a lot of space. Let Swiss be!

When I was 3 years old, this was the only ride that i would ride over and over again, it also was the only ride that i absolutely loved. Never takeaway this ride, if you took this from wdw, yull be taking a piece of my childhood.

As a matter of fact, It still holds a very speciel place in my heart today. I dont love it as much no more, its not my fav. but its still a great ride. IMO
