Just thought there should be a thread that clears up any untrue rumours. There are lots of posts on here that to me seem VERY far fetched so if you have heard any rumours and you know they are untrue or believe so then please post it here.

Not sure if this thread will be a success but I also thought this will give a lot of closure to some people, so people don't keep making lots of posts about something that may not even be true.:) Worth a go! :)

You could also post a rumour you have heard and maybe someone will clear it up for you!

I think every rumor thread has it's share of people to discredit the rumor.

Why have a thread solely for dis-accreditation of rumors? Why not just read a thread completely. :rolleyes:

Perhaps it's part of the new generation. They want everything NOW.

A rumor, by definition, cannot be proven either way.

Something like 'Cinderella's castle can be dismantled' is an urban legend, not a rumor.

There really is no way to disprove a rumor like 'I heard from a source that Disney is building a park based on Space Heaters'. Despite how ludicrous the rumor is, you have no evidence that they are or are not doing so.

One inaccurate rumor that gets brought up often is that Horizons was demolished because it was built on a sinkhole and regardless of any other factors, it was structurally unsafe and had to go. I'd still like to know the original source of that rumor, but it has be debunked several times.

Another inaccurate rumor is that Disney cannot use the Grauman's Theater exterior in promotional materials and therefore the Giant Wizard Hat had to be put in place to block it's view. Not true.

I can confirm a nuke inside the castle.

And I can confirm that one of the presidents at the HoP is actually a corpse of a president operated by string like a puppet. Can anyone else confirm?

Walts frozen and stored in the castle, You think Roy would have let them freeze him and put him on top of a missle silo?

That's a popular misconception. He's not there anymore. He was moved to the Imageworks as part of the first Imagination Institute refurb. He's laying right next to Dreamfinder in the "Neon light" tunnel.
