I'm glad this died a quick death.... I think there would have been a more literal movement to brandish the torches and pitchforks on Eisner if this did go through.
I am sure Martin and/or Lee can confirm or deny but it is my understanding that had the structure of SSE been able to take the forces of a roller coaster this might have actually happened.

I'm really not sure.
I'm fairly certain it was an actual "roller coaster", but it was some sort of high-speed ride for sure.
The name "Time Racers" has also caused some confusion. I heard at one point that it was to be the name of a post-show for the new ride, not the ride itself. Heard both ways, actually.

Somebody around here claimed a while back to have some art of the new ride. Never saw it, and don't remember who that was.

Jim Hill had an article about this a while ago which included a small image of layout art. I know I've seen a larger version of this, I just can't find it.

Rumor has it that Walt experimented with the "Undercover Boss" scenario. He liked his new identity so much that he faked his freezing and took over as a janatorial CM in Disneyland.

Some say you can hear sweeps by the partners statue after the nighttime fireworks singing "a sweep is as lucky as lucky can be"

That is a Perkin's outside DTD, not IHOP. I have been there. It is very good.
There is an IHOP outside of DTD next to the Double Tree with the big pineapple on the front of the building and the tacky tourist T-shirt shop. I have not however tried calling the number posted in the restroom.:lookaroun

How about the rumor that the bus crashes will result in the completion of the monorail system to all parks, resorts, and DTD, and Disney just ordered 36 Mark VIII trains from Bombardier to operate the new system. :drevil:

Or that we need scores of redundant news updates and aerial camera shots of the accident scenes to reach these erroneous conclusions?
