Christmas Merchandise

I have a friend who is going down over Christmas and I thought I might slip her some cash to pick me up a Christmas souvenier from WDW. Now I don't mean a Christmas ornament which I could buy anytime of the year, like at Ye Old Christmas shop or the Christmas shop at DTD. I'm referring to, say, pins with a Christmas theme, or a resort mug with a Christmas theme (if such even exists), etc. Something that's only available during the Christmas season. Right now, I'm thinking along the lines of a pin, since it's small and fairly cheap. I'm not wanting to spend much more than 10 bucks. What else besides pins might be available.

And if a pin, do they change every year, or do they bring the same ones out year after year? Does anyone have any pictures or descriptions of any Christamsy type pins?

There are some LE pins that will only be for this year, particularly in Epcot. There are some special Tshirts, and numerous Disneyfied Santa hats that are only available around this time. If your friends are doing a MVMCP...there are special pins specific for each night.

I don't know if you are into collecting the refillable mugs or anything, but last January we picked up one of those type of mugs at fantasmic. It was a leftover christmas mug that said something like happy holidays 2006. I believe it had mickey and minnie dressed in holiday gear on it. We thought it was something different from the mugs we already had. :xmas:

Cool, thanks. :wave: As I said, a mug sounds good, but it's bigger and takes up more space, so a nice pin might be better.

There are always plenty of new Christmas/Holiday pins. They seldom recycle old pins, unless they are rack pins. The LE pins are always new, and so are the Jumbo pins and pin sets.

While the upcoming pins for the holiday seasons are not out yet, you may want to go to the Disney pin website and keep an eye on it when they release the info on the holiday pins.

I'm sorry, I can't even remotely remember how much it might have been. They sold hot chocolate in it, but I can't imagine it being as much as a refillable mug, so maybe like 5-7 dollars?
