Yay for Abby! That's so great!!! And yay for Joel too! I'm so proud of both of them!

Yep, me too :D - I was going through a box of my old school stuff with her last night, I cannot believe I still had some of my grade cards in there. Plus my senior yearbook, with all the 80s big hair everywhere

Nibbs, can you give me a link to the Disney CMO site?

Hello Nibblies - Yay for the Disney CMO site - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
Grade cards arrived today. Abby's all A's again - including band! :sohappy: Joel is showing improvements as well. His main difficulties involve fine motor skills...holding a pencil, using scissors. But they have pretty much eliminated using a picture communication system with him, as his verbal skills have improved so much. :sohappy:
That is so awesome! Yay for them!! :sohappy:

yeah...sure...it's here

They don't always show all of them...sometimes you have to go a few times before they show different ones...

Yay!! Congrats Nibbs!:sohappy:

We could skip gym in high school if we took band or choir instead. I was in choir.

I took band/PE all 4 years. Should I say that I actually liked gym, and it was the only class I got straight As in....from 5th-12th grade?:lookaroun

Thanks sweetie! How's your weekend looking?
Good I think. It was announced on Wednesday that our youth pastor is indeed leaving for a different church; so DH's life is about to get even more busy. This weekend we don't have a lot planned, so we're hoping on enjoying what may possibly be one of the last times we can truly relax.

So what's going on with everyone this weekend?

Well, we're taking it easy tonight, just ordering carryout for supper; Abby got to pick the restaurant because of the grades, so we'll be getting food from the Amish restaurant up the road. Tomorrow afternoon she's having a friend from school over for a HSM2 afternoon. Other than that, just doing stuff around the house.

Hey Jo, did you see Ace of Cakes last night? The Hogwarts cake was soooo cool! :D

What kinds of food do you order from there? Do they deliver in a horse and buggy?

Hey Jenny.

No, I totally forgot about it.:cry: There was a #-retiring ceremony for one of the Rangers, and that made me forget about the show.

The castle itself wasn't edible, but the surrounding 'grounds' were. They wanted the castle to be left untouched. I just think it's so cool how they sculpt with cake.

No - it's just located in Amish country, and a number of waitresses are actually Mennonite. Basically it's comfort food...fried chicken, meatloaf, roast beef, that kind of thing. And absolutely yummy pies for dessert. :slurp: We just call in our order, then Mike goes to pick up. We live right on the edge of the largest Amish community in Ohio, so lots of yummy restaurants and tourist attractions. The Amish live a simple life, but they are also capitalists. And people come from everywhere.
