So funny - I'm laying in bed this morning trying to remember if this is the New Year holiday or the atonement holiday...I really should know by now.

I am so smoothy smooth smooth today - Mint Melon Body Sugar in the shower, yummy! It's put me in a good mood.

Just got off the phone with my mom. She's already depressed about the election. Personally, I don't care whose side you're on, I just don't believe in giving up until it's over. Worried about the outcome? Do something to influence it.

Vince... I can't tell you how much I needed to read that this morning.

I find myself worrying about the lack of time in my life to get things done on "my schedule," what if I don't do this right or that, not being able to hang out with my friends as much as they'd like because there simply isn't enough time to do everything we need to do, let alone want to do.

I worry, worry, worry... and I miss all the things God's blessed me with. Or, at least, I don't pay them enough attention. My goodness, we are able to buy a beautiful new home--a DREAM home to us. My dad survived "terminal" cancer twice in the past two years. I have more friends than I can count who are willing to do anything for me. I have a job that... I sometimes enjoy and that pays well. DH has an AMAZING job which, yes, causes us to be busy, but the payoff and what we get out of it is nothing less than priceless.

So.. thanks Vince... for reminding me to enjoy what I have now. Because if all I keep doing is focusing on the small but sometimes numerous negatives, I'm going to miss out on all the amazing positives... and then, before I know it... they could be gone.

Vince... I hope the rest of your week turns up... I'll be thinking about you. :kiss:
