Chicken Soup for the Magic Souls

*yawn*

Our alarm didn't go off this morning, and I didn't want to rush to get to my 8:00 class, so I opted to go back to sleep.
And I have to miss my last class today for polo.
I'm so tired this morning...
You play polo?! How cool!

One of my favorite shows is Designed to Sell on HGTV I watch it on Saturdays I think. They always have great tips that I would never think of.
Ooo! I may have to catch that one! There's a "Staging" show as well... I set it up to record it.

Depends on the development, I would think - are you in one or is it a rural property? If it's rural you'll probably have to buy one from Lowe's or Home Depot. No biggie.
I love your color choices - I think a stained front door will be beautiful. Can't wait to see pics! :sohappy:
It's in a little neighborhood area...

I have a photo I took with my phone. I'll see if I can figure out how to post it.

There's a slight incline... but it's Tennessee... there isn't much flat land out here...

I just love it!
And I love how it's surrounded by all the trees.
How far away are your neighbors?
It's on about an acre lot. But the left hand side is a little wooded (less to mow!)
The road curves just to the left of the house and to the right it inclines up a hill (I took a picture from the top of the hill, I'll see if I can post that) So the house immediately on our left is a little in front of our house, b/c it's ON the curve. And the house to our right is decently close, but higher on the hill. If that makes any sense...

That is a great show - I haven't watched HGTV for a while....

I flip between HGTV and E! When I am at Mom and Dad's doing my laundry on Saturdays. There's another one with a mother daughter team where they critique open houses, is that the one?

I know. :o
But I just couldn't find the energy to go.
Don't tell anyone. :lookaroun

Hey girl! Your secret is safe with us. I couldn't handle 8 o'clock classes when I was in school.

Such a pretty setting, Kat - I just love it! Is the driveway sloped - just speaking from experience, shoveling a sloped driveway in winter can be ummmm, challenging. :lookaroun But we get great views. :D

so who wants to hear about my fun morning????? :D

Me!!!! :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

Oh yeah, Donna and Shannon - they crack me up. They're blunt, but they make a lot of sense.

It's a LITTLE sloped. It looks like it's a big slope in the picture, but it's not that bad. And... we've never had to shovel our driveway. We just don't get a lot of snow.

Here's the view from the top of our road. It's not developed yet (there's only two more houses built to the right of our house, up the hill), so there WILL be houses blocking some of it, but it would still be nice to take our walks up there.

We asked the realtor, just being curious, how much houses a few doors down from us will be... With this view, they're going to be a LOT more expensive! :dazzle:

But it's beautiful! I wish you could see the depth of the rolling hills. It makes it look like it's in the country, though it's not. It's so cool!

Come visit! Seriously! I can't wait to entertain in a house where people will actually have move to mingle around!

One of the things I really like about it is there's an extra bedroom on the second floor with its own full bath. We figure guests would like to stay up there and have their own space. The only other thing up there is a "bonus room" so they can just make themselves at home up there without worrying about bothering us at night or whatever.
