DH is from here. Went to UTC actually. I'm a transplant from Chicago.

Did YOU have trouble getting gas this weekend? It seems Nashville was the only place affected!

We are still having problems getting gas. I am below a quarter of a tank, was going to fill up on my way into work, but no one had gas. I hope someplace gets some before the day is over or I am walking home.

My mom is doing very well. Talked to her yesterday and she is so happy to be home. I was going to take food down to her tomorrow, but that's on hold till we see what's going on with the boy.

Susie. Last week when I was down on Grandma Jo Day, a good friend gave me some great advice. He said, "I didn’t know your Grandma Jo, but from what you’ve told me, she wouldn’t want the day to “remember her” with to be a day that you were sad all day. So decide right now to only think of the good times you had with her and refuse, in her honor and her memory, to get down about it!"

It was definately easier said than done, but it really stuck with me and honestly did help me a bit.

I think I am crying more for my sister and her family that for me. I am talking to my sister via email today and she is just mad at the gun companies right now but she said it is a anger issue on her part. James wouldn't want it that way.

Well, I just got him dressed a little bit ago and he wanted some water - still doesn't want to eat - I'm letting him call the shots about that. He's watching Sesame Street at the moment - staying home has the perk of watching PBS. :lol:

Oh, I'm looking outside and seeing leaves beginning to drift down ...only think I like about our tree removal this year is there will be less leaves to rake. Next spring after the two huge trees in the backyard come down will substantially improve that as well.
