Chicken Nuggets???? Bring back the strips!!!

Hi,

If this has been posted already, I'm sorry. I moved to the UK last year, and have not been able to get to WDW during 2008. So I was looking at the menus to see the updates. I see they have removed ALL the chicken strips and replaced them with nasty nuggets. Why is this? And are the nuggets REAL chicken, or are they like normal nuggets? I LOVED the old chicken strips. Its one of the few times I'd let myself have them because WDW's were so good. :shrug: Thanks.

The nuggets are basically just smaller strips. Its not a big deal, they taste almost exactly the same- maybe even a bit better. They are chicken breast nuggets not reconstituted meat. They aren't as good a value as the strips because for the same price you are getting more breading and less meat but taste-wise they really aren't very different.

Yeah, it's fairly easy too. You pick them up with your hand, bite a piece off of the nugget with your mouth, chew the piece and lastly swallow. :lookaroun

If you miss chicken strips... I know Busch's Worlds of Discovery parks serve them...

that, or cruise on the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder.. I thnk both still serve strips.

Nuggets weren't that bad when we were there in Dec 08, but I prefer and really miss the strips!!! They were um um good!

Quoted for truth. Really, it's not a big deal in the slightest. They're just half-sized strips with actual white meat. Very tasty and you get enough that Love and I often order an 8-piece and share.

To me its all no big deal, to a 6yr old its the end of the world.:lol: I will say that if I had to choose between the nuggets and the strips I would choose the strips.

Everyone was up-in-arms about this last year, but for most of us it became a non-issue once we tried the new nuggets. Don't worry, they're still good, and decent sized portions (plus they offer them in a kids' size meal at the Harbor House which I've been pushing for for years).
