Check in time

Arrived at AKL last week at around 8:00 a.m. after a red-eye flight. The front desk checked for and found an available room for us right away. It was great!

Earliest we've checked in was 7am. We also have yet to have an onsite stay where our room wasn't ready upon arrival. I make sure my noted arrival time is truthful, but on the early side of when we could arrive.

We had no problem checking in and going straight to an upgraded room at Coronado Springs last August at 7:00 am. It was our Anniversary and they bumped us to a preferred room. (We did not ask for or expect an upgrade, they did it on their own.) Major dose of Pixie Dust! ;)

Major "bump" on this thread but we checked in early( around 11 am) on our anniversary
and got an upgrade too. We also got a flower arrangement from the front desk manager, who remembered us from the year before! I love WDW! magic!

For our April trip, I'm looking to "check in" around 9:00am to 10:00am, though I don't expect the room to be ready. We'll be traveling up from point charlotte area after visiting family. The plan is to leave that area at 6:00am and hopefully arrive by 9:00am. That way we can get some park time in

9:15am. Sometimes the room is ready, sometimes not. If not just leave your things with the bellhop and hit the parks. :-) If you give them a cellphone # when you check in they will send you a text when your room is ready.
