Characters that could use a redesign

Disney just needs to accept that costumes ad animation are different mediums. There must be differences. Rubber hands were just a silly choice made in an attempt to be too literal.

Another funny Character Switch was Scrooge changing to Ludwig

Here's Scrooge (With a Rare Gyro Gearloose) From A Disney on Ice Show

Which then changed to Ludwig

But, what's really strange is that there was a Decent looking Ludwig used during The World According to Goofy Parade in the 90's

Why they never went back to this one is a mystery...

I could tolerate most of the costume, even with the gawdy trim on the jacket, stupid shoulderpads and oversized hat....

But they have GOT to lose those atrocious rubber hands. I'm sure the performer would prefer just being free, especially if a child were to come up looking for an autograph. How does he even hold the pen?

EDIT -- And why the hell is he wearing bell-bottom pants?
Oooh! Looks good to me! ;)

If you're watching the show from further back, you don't even see how horrendous the masks look. These are specifically created for the stage, not for meet and greets.

From a distance, sure! But if you're closer to the front, they're glaringly obvious and... rather ugly.

FettFan, I LOVE that Hook! Everything about him is perfect. I say pull out the other and shove this guy into the parks!

Whoops, I thought that was a person dressed up as him! Not the character in Disney. He needs to be totally changed!

Horace and Clarabelle. Why did they give them dark skin????

Prince Philip- the hat!!!!!!

I agree with the Queen of Hearts. It barely looks like the movie version.
Doesn't help that the current Queen Of Hearts has been used since the 70's. But what bugs me the most about the Queen Of Hearts is that shape of her head (The hair is done wrong) and the costume she wears. If she ever got a redesign then should would look much better. I mean look at Mr Smee for example.

I think Chip and Dale should get redesigned. Despite the current ones existing since 1981, I think the costumes and heads should get a few tweaks. I also noticed that Dale is missing his puff of hair presents in his animated form. Weirdly enough Dale was given hair on his head when it is articulated.

Jaq and Gus, despite the fact they're ultra rare in WDW. Scrooge and Launchpad should also get a redesign to match their new looks in the reboot of Ducktales.

I'm still leaning towards the thought that all human characters should be face characters. They changed Jasmine and kids still know it's her, why should they feel the need to keep the ludicrous and creepy overly cartoonish heads on the others. A man wearing a Captain's hat with a red coat, hook, and mustache will still be recognizable as Captain Hook. And the Queen wouldn't have to be a larger lady, they can make padded undersuits for that. I think it worked with the Mad Hatter, so why not do it for the rest?
