Get FP's for the Princesses and Mickey and Minnie at MK. You can get both FP's at the same time.

Try to go to Characterpalooza in Hollywood Studios in the Animation Building. It is not guarenteed to happen but be there at 4:45 for some special character meets.

As soon as the park opens meet a few characters. At MK we finished our breakfast ressie at around 9:40 and were able to meet Tiana and Peter Pan with no wait at all! Epcot is the best park for characters in my opinion, Just watch the times when they come out. At Epcot, we meet Stitch, Aurora, Marie, Alice, and Mary Poppins and all of them had less than a 10 minute wait.

I guess I don't really plan it out. I just let the characters sorta "happen". If we 'happen upon' a character, then we usually don't have to wait that long. We waited 30 minutes for EPCOT character spot, but it was worth the wait!

In Epcot you can find pooh and friends in England, Belle and Beast are often in France, Donald is in Mexico. We are character freaks, we always hit the character meals, and que up at the big meet and greets. Our favorite is the one in Epcot, I think it's called the character spot? You can usually meet 4 or 5 characters at a time.

Go during parades and fireworks after you have seen them a few times. We saw three princesses in fifteen minutes during a parade that we saw three times before.

My two favorite places to meet a lot of characters at once are:
1. The Magic of Disney Animation at Hollywood Studios. It's indoors, so it's cool. There's usually a few characters, so you can hop from one to the other. Lines are usually not bad.
2. Camp Minnie Mickey. I've never waited in really bad lines here either, and there's a bunch of characters to choose from.
Another option is to go into the World Showcase when it opens, with a Times Guide handy. You can meet a lot of characters in the countries at their meet & greet times, with smaller lines, when it's earlier in the day. We met a lot of the Princesses like this.

After you leave Character Spot at Epcot, but before you head out the door, look to your left. They'll occasionally have characters there. It's not a sure bet, not by a long shot, but if you get lucky you'll catch some rare ones or princesses with a very short wait. Camp Minnie-Mickey at DAK will sometimes have rare characters too, as might Town Square at MK, the Animation building at DHS, and the alleyways between countries at Epcot.

You could always book a few Character meals and have them come to you (Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, CRT, etc)

It is a great meet. Our trip in January we saw Jafar,Pocohantas,Meeko,Captain Hook,Mr. Smee,Geppetto,Pinocchio,Belle,Goofy,Max,All four Little Einsteins, Two penguins from Mary Poppins,Rafiki,Mulan,and Handy Manny. Other characters we have seen there are Queen Grimhelde(Snow White),Bolt, Timon,Marry Poppins,Chip and Dale,Pluto,Daisy,Donald,Minnie,Jojo,Goliath and I'm sure there are more but I just can't remember now. We go at least once or twice per trip. If you haven't done it I highly recommend it. There are more characters there when it rains or there is no Fantasmic that night. It isn't something they announce and the CM's won't even tell you if it going to happen or not. It is supose to be a surprise Meet & Greet.I've never heard of "characterpalooza."

We have seen them all plus many more though. Now if any rarer characters are there, that would be worth it.
