Character Enhancements

I didn't want to bring this up in the other thread because that one was more to let people know they are testing some older characters and bringing them out. I have heard that they have new enhancements starting this month and I wanted to know if anyone knew anything. Supposedly Stitch,Buzz (well, he's been there), and Goofy/Chip/Dale in spacemen suits will be appearing in Tomorrowland? Is this true? Also to follow up the "testing", are any of those older characters going to start appearing soon?

One more question, if I go to WDW in late november, will I see Scrooge or no?

Wow... I remember back in the day when they had the characters in space suits in Tomorrowland. I had my picture taken with Goofy and Roger Rabbit in space suits in Tomorrowland when I was little. That would be really cool if they brought those back.

I don't know about Scrooge though, can't help you there. Although I imagine he might be around for the Christmas season... but I don't really know because I've never been there durring that time of year.

I gave my niece,her family( husband w/ three year old) a trip to WDW this week.They took my younger brother (13) also. They called a few just now from EPCOT after riding MS and saw Mickey and Goofy in space-suits and saw Pinoccio at Italy. I not know about TL at MK but will let you know.(They go to MK 10/11/04)

Hmm, well as for Tomorrowland i'm not sure, but I can tell you that they are starting to bring all of the older characters back out. Thumper, Darkwing Duck and others will be coming out I think sometime soon...not 100% sure on that though, but it's what I heard.

ummm... I've already seen Darkwing, Scrooge and Thumper, they all occasionally come out during MNSSHP. I tend to see them alot, because they hang out around Town Square. And it was sad to see, everyone called Scrooge Donald, and noody lined up for Darkwing, so I kinda stood next to him to sing his theme song, to show him someone still cared.... :cry: :cry:

Aww...see what happens when Toon Disney gives classics like that crappy times??? I have to be real lucky if I catch Darkwing, Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Ducktales, Darkwing, etc. at a good time.

I'm going in a month and I'll definitely line up to see Scrooge and Darkwing if I see them! :sohappy:

Do you know if Chip and Dale might wear their "Rescue Rangers" outfits again? I don't think I've seen them in those in a while and I'd love to. I also want to see Huey Dewey and Louie, Webby Gail (sp?), Launchpad, Monterey Jack, Gadget...ooh too many to name!!!

They had a bunch of rare characters out this past July for some testing and from what I understand they did well. The guest thought it was great seeing some old friends. Im not sure why they would have space characters over in tomorrowland since they have then at mission:space, but there is a chance that they might move them over to tomorrowland. But EPCOT lacks in characters some. All they have is the bus, nemo over by the seas, and some characters out in the countries. But I would keep an eye out for rare characters. I guess I need to put up some of the rare character photos I have then HUH???

Well, a friend of mine who is very good friends with Chip and Dale confirmed that Chip and Dale will be appearing in Tomorrowland. I'm not sure when it starts though...I think it might be the end of this month. Can't wait to see them in space suits!

I didn't see any of those rare characters on Saturday, but I saw a very weird group of characters out in Town Square.

When I say weird group, I mean like out of the ordinary: We had Gwendall, Prince John, Pinnochio, and (Geppetto)

Me and Geppetto are like this... :cool:

Both Darkwing and Scrooge were out at MNSSHP on the 8th. I have a great pic with me as Superman next to DW. DW seemed very happy to see my gf and I because we both loved his show. Also they had Soira, Goofy, and Donald all from Kingdom Hearts in the queue area for Timekeeper. Other then that the only diffrent characters we saw were Space Suite Mickey and Goofy (it looks like they repainted old Tron Mickey and Goofy) and a few odd ones during the parade at Mickeys.

Nice update you got there..Gwendall I believe is the smallest country bear with the blue scarf..around his neck.

Yes, Wendell is the shortest country bear with the blue scarf and sometimes hat. He such a cute little bear.....chasing those girls :lol:
