Character Dining Question

Hi everyone,

New to the boards. We are planning out 9th trip to Disney this year and are going with a group of 6 people. This is including my 2 1/2 year old son and this will be his second trip. We are intending on doing one character breakfast during our 5 day vacation and I have two questions that I KNOW you will all have answers / advice regarding!

1. How far in advance can I call and make reservations.
2. We're considering Chef Mickeys or the Playhouse Disney Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine (for my son, of course). Which would you suggest?

Thanks!

I'd consider doing at least two. One of them fairly early in the morning, perhaps in or near the park you intend to visit that morning (like CHef Mickey's, which is a 10-minute walk away to MK, or Breakfastsaurus, so you're already in the park when it opens). Then you can do the other as a late breakfast, that could carry you through lunch as well. For instance, go to Epcot in the morning when they have EMH, then walk or boat over to the Cape May Buffet at the YnBC, making reservations about 30 mins before they stop admitting guests for breakfast.

hi

you first qestion depends on where you are plaining to eat, for ex. cindy's royal breackfasts, you have to book, at leat 6 weeks in advanice and then u many have a small chance of getting a place. some of the small place you can book that day, thought f you want it done befor hand i surejest booking before you travle, just to make sure. i not sure about play house disney but i think cheif mickey you have to book in advance.

i went to chef mickey at the age of five a still rember it today, thought i think that play house disney might be a good idea too, as there will be charturtes that your soon will know, aka jojo, and her cricus friends

good advice... i agree!

I didn't even realize that there was a Playhouse Disney CB. I think that if I were in your situation I would take advantage of this being a less known about CB and enjoy the extra time with the characters. I'm sure your son would like that too!

Either way, enjoy your trip. Be sure to tell us what you pick and how it goes!
