Changes you make if put in charge of WDW...

I would re-purpose the construction of Avatar land to Australia.

Add Brazil, Egypt, and Siam (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia) to World Showcase

Create a Jungle Book dark ride and more of the classics (Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone, Rescuers, The Brave Tailor etc..)

Not close a ride/attraction until the day before construction of the replacement begins.

Change the Dining plan to include choice of desert or appetizer, make the mugs bigger (20 oz or so) and put rapid refill stations in the parks.

Have more things that only have a life cycle of 5-8 years so there is the feel that it is growing/changing for those who go annually (or more often), but still is timeless for those who can only go once or twice a lifetime.

Have a resort that is adults (30+) only. It doesn't have to be huge, but should include suites and studios.

Indiana Jones Adventure to MK. It's time for a new E-ticket there. As bad as the crowds get, the MK needs more to help spread people out.

Hopefully the serious DHS overhaul is done. If not, that becomes my top priority.

Also, I'd work on fixing up Future World in Epcot. Imagination, Universe of Energy, and Wonders of Life would be big priorities.

If money wasn't an issue, I'd also start work on new Monorails and another mode of transportation to the MK. Maybe a mini train on a loop from TTA to MKs bus loop area and back?

It's a rare Bob sighting!
Have to work on my quota of non-ivory tower posts every once in a while.
It takes an incredible, forward thinking idea to pull him out of hiding.
Or a post that made lol in real life.
I'm not sure but I think that emoticon means "PERFECT, THAT'S AN IDEA I CAN GET BEHIND, LET THE DISCUSSION BEGIN" am I wrong here???
That emoticon means "it's about to get interesting in here".

If I were in charge....I would find some location away from guests, hire a few diggers and make a really deep hole. Collect every Magicband and set them on fire and bury them. Then I would sit back and watch people come to WDW and enjoy themselves without them (like they used to).

One other change....fire the person who thought it was a good idea to begin with.

I answered a similar thread question more seriously before, but this one I'll be a little more outlandish. I've liked a few ideas I've seen so far, but ultimately, the biggest most controversial change with be related to changing the behavior of all guests.

First off, in order to enter property you will have to have completed a basic IQ test, taken a Disney mandatory safety & manner school, and sign a contract saying you will obey all property rules and policies.

Second, park admission will be significantly lowered, but you will visit on a point based system. Each Guest will be given a perfect score of 100. Points will be deducted for not following the rules or being rude: from jumping off rides to littering, using flash on dark rides to cursing out Cast Members. Depending on the action, points will be taken off your score. At the end of the day, you must has a score of 70 or above otherwise, you pay an additional fee. If your score reaches 25, you will be asked to leave the park for the day. 4 or more visits with scores 25 or below will result in being banned from visiting for 10 years. In order to cancel that, you have to pay a premium AND take another course on how to behave properly.
If you are caught doing good, you can help bring your score back up. Guests who have a score of 150 or above at the time they leave, will get their choice of a free souvenir or a portion of their admission back.

The goal is promote the good moral values that Disney teaches in its movies and reward people for being good and punish those for being bad.

Examples of Reasons to Lose Points
-Littering
-Not Telling the Truth
-Line Jumping
-Blocking the View of Others vis child, balloon, camera, large object, etc
-Flash photography where prohibited
-Smoking where prohibited
-Blocking walkways and exits
-Not controlling children
-Climbing on things you shouldn't
-Climbing over/under chains
-Not using your manners
-Being too loud indoors
-Being on your cell phone on an attraction/show
-Parking your stroller/ECV in the wrong spot
-Cursing
-Being rude to other guests or cast members
-Trying to scam Disney or cheat the system

Examples of Things You Get Extra Points For:
-Picking Up Trash/Cleaning up messes
-Allowing smaller children to move in front of you to see better
-Random acts of kindness like paying for someone's meal
-Sitting down to watch parades and fireworks
-Holding the door open for someone with their hands full
-Recognizing a Cast Member for doing a great job
-Well mannered children

Cast Members would have a similar point based system on how they perform to strive for the best. This includes executives not only based on profits but quality of the parks as well.

All in all, if no other changes are made, the parks will be a much different but much better place for everyone. Weed out everyone that doesn't deserve to visit or work their and it leaves the best for an amazing experience. And trust me, don't worry about the money lost from restricting access to Guests, they'll pay for it if they act rude, selfish, mean, or dumb. That's where Disney will rake it in...until the world can finally live in peace & harmony at least.

Oh yeah, and Fastpass would disappear and the parks would receive the attention and creativity they deserve.

I've saw a couple of people in this thread decry the selfie sticks...and I've saw plenty more on this board. My question is this....why the hatred for them? I don't own one, and doubt that I ever will. However, when I was there in November, I saw plenty of people using them, and it never once bothered me. Is there a reason for the hatred of them that I'm missing? This is a sincere question, and not me taking the side of the selfie stick users of the world.

propose and greenlight a Simba's Boneyard Escape (indoor roller coaster)
more bus transportation from resorts to the parks between the hours of 7-noon
more AK animal exhibits
motorized scooters are for the elderly who can't walk only
i like the Disney Movie store idea
I wouldn't mind expanding TTA
retheme the shore banks for the Liberty Bell ride to include making the animatronics more realistic
Bring back the backlot tour and since Indiana is on his way out already, change his show stage for a Star Wars one.
