Pumbas Nakasak
Heading for the great escape.

True, so you either have inconvenience for a park going guest, or inconvenience for a water park guest. I choose inconvenience for the water park guest.
Sure they can. A bus from your resort to DAK to BB and back is probably a 45-minute loop. Cutting BB shortens that loop by about 10 min. Across 15 or so routes. You can have fewer buses because travel time is shortened and there are fewer people on those buses anyway. And all they have to add is probably two buses to/from each water park. They can't remove ANY buses from the resort routes. They are going to still going to be going to AK and DS, so how can they possibly remove any?
I can't believe anyone will defend this. ?!
I don't think it's about defending anything.I can't believe anyone will defend this. Baffling really.
If you want to improve guest experience you don't just shuffle the inconvenience off on a smaller group, you find a way to remove the inconvenience.
The correct way to do this is to have dedicated busses. No awkward transfers or anything. Just get on a bus and it goes where the sign says. That's for great guest experience. That's what's expected from on-site hotels.
If this move wasn't for guest experience, than you should be even less likely to support it. No cost cutting measure should negatively effect anyones trip so far as to cost them and extra HALF HOUR of their time BY DESIGN. Are you kidding?!?!?!

AK (and the other parks) open before 10 am. If the transportation schedule stayed the way it was before...there would be absolutely 0 people on the buses in the morning going to the water parks because the water parks wouldn't be open...everyone would be headed to the parks.
This process basically makes AK the main "hub" to get to BB. This is an inconvenience, but it shouldn't ruin anyone's vacation. Just give yourself a bit more time and there won't be any issues; or as others have stated...rent a car. Is it an inconvenience to have to park at Fort Wilderness and then take a bus to get back to Trail's End to eat? Yes. Is it that big of a deal to the point where my vacation is ruined? No.
This is an inconvenience, but...
I thought about that, but there are 5 of us, and I wasn't sure if there would be vehicles big enough for us without having to wait forever.you are prob just better off grabbing a taxi or Uber. you can get on right from the resort bell desk and it will be there in 5 minutes tops. cost will prob be under $15.
We use taxis more and more b/c of the unpredictability of the disney transports.
That's my feeling as well. The "well, if you don't like it, rent a car" answer rubs me the wrong way. Yes, of course that's an option, and many people staying on property do it. But that's not an insignificant expense. Even taxis and Ubers add up if you're doing them regularly.BUT NOTHING. "This is an inconvenience", so it shouldn't be happening. No ifs, ands, or buts. A Disney vacation is enough of an undertaking and making anything more complicated is a bad job on their part. That's how they keep people on-site.

Well this is pretty dumb...
Going to be pretty silly for Blizzard Beach guests staying at Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, AoA, Coronado Springs, and All Stars. You'll drive right by the water park going to AK just to circle back to it.
Edited for water park switch.
Lovely prospect in 92 degrees with a bag full of beach stuff. If you're staying at Coronado and don't have a car, you'd be better off *walking* to Blizzard Beach.

I thought this was a world-class luxury resort destination, not Gatorland.
