Changes coming to Rose & Crown?

Flags were ordered to be lowered half-staff for today Thursday in all public buildings .
Pretty sure @ToTBellHop meant at the Rose and Crown.

But no one had to order the flags to be lowered, it’s standard protocol. And they’ll stay down until the morning after the funeral. Except for this Saturday when they’ll be raised for the proclamation of King Charles III.

It looks like someone was able to do a little something. Just walked by, it’s a little wet because a storm just rolled through. This is in the garden by the bathrooms.

I would not mind them enlarging the bar seating area, but I really hope they arent Ditching the Rose and Crown as its one of our favorites to eat at during the GOOD Fireworks show, not the current abomination!!!

Speaking of Indian food in the UK, spent a good amount of time there last month, and multiple parties (including one closer to Manchester and Edinburgh) said I had to try Dishoom. It didn't disappoint!

In comparison, haven't eaten a proper meal at Rose & Crown in 15+ years, but this idea sounds fun.
My goodness the menu and ambience for that Dishoom place has me wanting to book a flight to the UK pronto!

Looks like lunch is no longer an option. How long has that been gone?
UPDATE: So it looks like they will no longer be offering lunch service in the dining room, only dinner starting at 4. Pub should still be open all day. Unsure if pub grub menu will be offered at lunch or not. Website still won’t let you book any type of reservation for any meal period.
