I'm surprised this rule change wasn't put into effect a while ago.
Not a fan of the new rule. Has to be lawyers doing this.
Let's see, I have 42 kids under the age of 14 by 11 different women, so I hope it is not a 1:1 ratio.
Such a policy would have the consequence of not allowing a parent or guardian and child to enter. Or even siblings. Why can't a local 16 year old bring a younger sibling to a theme park?Strange that it just says "a guest over 14" the accompanying party, should be a lot older like over 18 maybe even over 21.

Some parents are younger than 18 and certainly 21. Should they not be allowed to take their children to Disney?
Because its a pain in the neck for parents to have to park, get to the gate, enter the park, turn around and leave. It's much easier to just drop the kids off.Out of curiosity, why aren't you a fan of this?
Some parents are not 21.How does it?
Antonio Cromartie? You're a Disney guy?
Agreed, these days where there are so many malicious individuals who would seek to do harm to a child, any parent in their right mind would be crazy to let a child younger than this go alone to the parks. I don't mean to be judgmental here, or start a new discussion over this, but it's just too dangerous a place with too many creeps on the prowl.

Yes, this new change seems more for the locals. I think there must have been some problems with kids acting out and no parent around.
