Celebrity sighting at WDW?

It is going to be a long-shot that this question will be answered!

While walking through WDW today with my husband ("resort hopping"), I passed by a family getting their picture taken outside O'Hana. Or, so I thought! As I passed the family (a mom, with "tween girls" and a teenage boy..), I saw the mom say "thank you" to the teenage boy and hand him an autograph book. Then she asked if he was there with this family. He smiled, and acknowledged that he and his family were vacationing there this week. My husband was leaving me in his dust, so I was not able to hang back and figure out who he was!

So not having any kids myself, I have no clue who this boy may have been. Definitely looked like he was under 18, skinny, not particularly tall, clean-cut. I know, that narrows it down in terms of what teenage heartthrob he may be!:ROFLOL:

Anyway, I was hoping that someone else may have seen or at least heard about a somewhat famous teenage guy at WDW. I'd love to figure out who he was!

Definitely not the Jonas Brothers. It's pretty hard not to know the Jonas Brothers these days! Didn't look like Justin Bieber either, based off the picture at least... He looked older than that, and I don't remember the hair being as "gy".... hmmm. It's a shame I didn't have the opportunity to hang back and try to figure out who he was... I might have gotten my picture with him, just because I could!

Yeah, someone else suggested that to me too.... I googled him to find his picture (didn't follow AI this year and didn't know what he really looked like), and it doesn't quite look like him either. If it was him, more people probably would would have been swarming him and he wouldn't have answered that he's there with his family....

however, I am rethinking my statement that the person I did see was under 18... Seeing a Justin Bieber's picture, and that he's 16, I'm a really bad judge of age because he looked more like 14 to me. Maybe I saw was more around the age of 17-20??

Sigh. I'll probably never find out who he was!

It was Aaron Kelly at Ohana. He won the American Idol Experience a DHS and went on to become a Top 12 finalist on the show. Cute kid, and a very sweet family.

Based on the following, I would say an AI contestant is a good guess....

On Sunday (30th) there was someone named "Big Mike," who was apparently also an AI contestant, at Animal Kingdom, and people seemed to be going gaga over him, asking for photos, autographs etc.

Maybe they're having some kind of get-together there this week?
