I was there yesterday during the parade/deluge. Those performers were quite the troopers to keep on going the way they did. I was watching in Liberty Square so I had no idea what had happened to the last two floats.

I feel bad, but also cant help but giggle a bit for the performers... My favorite pic is the one with Lady Tremaine and Mice running for cover, with Lady Tremaine staying in character...

Excerpt-

It was a deluge by the time the Fairy Godmother and three royal couples arrived. Fairy Godmother seemed flustered -- and who could blame her? Her hood was being blown off by the gusty wind, and she was forced to literally hold on to her hair. Thankfully, her platform was lowered to bring her closer to earth.

Sounds like a real fun day in the Magic Kingdom.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
If I were a performer, I think I might actually like performing in the rain! Maybe not THAT much rain, but i've always found that marching band is just more fun in inclement weather.

This type of weather can be very unsafe to send a parade out in to. Characters should never be exposed to possible lightning and thunder storms.

Looks like the storm didn't show up until the parade was already running. Now I do remember that I didn't get a weather warning on my mobile 'til it was raining.

But for some weird reason can get Epcot 25th out of my head.

Yeah, but managers also monitor the weather before parade to see if anything might be coming in.
