Casey's Corner closing for lengthy refurbishment in the new year

Yeah, people talk about the Pecos Bill's fixins bar like it's loaded with caviar and smoked salmon.

I thought this picture of a Casey's dog that Real Mad Hatter posted on the food picture thread looked pretty good though - I think you can just barely see the dog in there. The fries look good too. Must...eat...apple...slices...

I just want Casey's to go back to the 1/4 lb. premium all-beef hot dogs that they used to sell. The current ones with chicken and pork aren't nearly as good, and they're smaller.

Casey's is a must do every trip.. Love the bleachers and cartoons the piano and outside dining with the ducks is also great. Love the toppings bar it's just a fun place to grab a bite to eat.

True, but a cavernous expanse with switchbacks isn't exactly desirable either. Hopefully they can find a happy medium.

We really enjoyed our dogs at Casey's, they did not suck. Are they homemade by a man from upstate? Um no, but for park fare they are very good.

We have a local place that serves dogs with lots of crazy toppings, but the actual dogs aren't that great. It helps if the dogs are top notch. Still, these photos look great!

Yes lol they were good. The bun is an average run of the mill bun, but they were very tasty overall. I feel like I should make this disclaimer though- I was 7 months pregnant at the time when I had them.

Coca Cola would be proud of your framing of this picture. The proper turning of the cup and The Hot Dog and the french fry both pointing towards the Coca Cola logo leading your eyes right to the logo.

I'm having a little difficulty with orientation here. Is the entrance to Casey's on the side now? Is the seating area behind the green fence? Is that stop folks from parking there waiting for the fireworks? Any bets on how long it will be before people are sitting on top of the fence to watch the fireworks?
