A while ago, there was a post that Caseys would no longer serve BEEF hot dogs. Was this true? And if so, is this in effect now? I only eat BEEF hot dogs.
The wheat buns have been that way for over a year now....and that they're only served on wheat buns.

Sometimes yeah. They were worse when they were first introduced. I think they changed them slightly as the ready-to-crumble nature improved significantly.Does anyone else have a problem with the wheat buns wanting to fall apart?
nope, always found them to be nearly the same as white.
I understand the buns as a cost cutting measure. It is acceptable with a hotdog but with a hamburger it is just plain messy.
I did not like the chicken bites at first, I LOVED the TENDERS. But you actually get more food the new way.
As for the hot dogs, I understand the change. However, Caseys is known for BEEF - that is their specialization.
I think the buns are more of a health promotion deal, rather than a cost cutting. Much the same reason you cannot get a Toll House Ice Cream Sandwitch anymore.

The Toll House Ice Cream Sandwich removal was for health reasons? Then why can you still get a humungaloid custom-made ice cream cookie sandwich at the Main Street Bakery? (Not that I'm complaining, LOL, but it was enough for two of us to share and then some!) :slurp:
If only they used real dog
Are or were the hotdogs at Caseys really any different than that of Cosmic Ray's? Doesn't taste any different to me.
