Casablanca at DTD/PI

Hope this wasn't posted already...

The movie Casablanca (heralded by some as the best romantic movie - if not the best movie period - ever made) will be shown at the DTD/Pleasure Island AMC-24 theater on March 21 at 2pm and 7pm (check their schedule to verify times).

The movie is showing nationwide at select theaters.

It would be great if they dedicated one of the 24 theaters to vintage film on a nightly basis. I'm not sure how well they would be viewed but sometimes I know I would prefer to see a classic film.

I still say Turner Classic Movies should sponsor the Great Movie Ride. Perfect match, and think of the possiblities for new updates to it and refreshening.

Universal's theater does stuff like this all year round. I think it's a great idea. Lord knows, there are hardly 24 movies ever worth seeing out at 1 time.

That is a good idea! I would love for them to be involved not even with the GMR, but just Hollywood Studios in general. I must say I regret the park's theme change from classic Hollywood to "miscellaneous entertainment".

Gotta love Fathom Events. Sometimes they're the only things that keep me going to the movies!
