*cough* don't mess with He-Man *cough*

:lookaroun  :lookaroun

Oh, no, not me! I wouldn't dare mess with a dude who wears a Prince Valiant haircut and says stuff like:

"Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said... By the power of Greyskull!"

Fabulous? Holding magic sword aloft? WHOO-HA-HA-HA! And he owns a cat!

The only drawback I see is that the robots look too "alien" rather than the vehicles transformed. (Yes, the images are so brief it's too early to tell but I'm just basing it on what I've seen thus far).

That's why I'd be afraid of a live action Voltron. The way things go, they would proabably make transformed Voltron look like an average giant robot, rather than a giant robot made of giant robotic lions.

A live action Robotech, though, would totally rock!

I think they're (Hollywood) is taking on these huge tasks to "WOW" people but fall short because the technology isn't quite there yet. It's close...but not QUITE there.

I'm keeping an open mind about Transformers...sure, the robots don't look as nice as I was hoping (and I hope I haven't seen Megatron yet...because if that giant robot with the spinning blade things is Megatron, I'll hate it)

Optimus, from the "over the shoulder" view didn't look "bad" but I don't know how I feel about a flame job on him.

No, that's apparently Blackout. The 'cons have 'B'-name thing going on for some reason. Blackout, Barricade, Brawl...

Megatron probably won't be revealed until the later part of the movie.

I'm a little disapointed that they're going for a spindly "modern hollywood" look for the TF's instead of the classic boxy look, but I'm happy that Peter Cullen is doing the voice for Optimus Prime. They just updated the official trailer to include a line of dialogue from the big guy actually.

I heard it...it's decent...but probably over most people's heads

It was great to hear Peter Cullen though! I just watched Transformers:The Movie this weekend hehe. I don't like it as much as the G1 show because it focused mainly on the "passing of the torch" than an actual "Transformers" movie. I think I had it confused with a different "episode"...I always thought the Transformers movie was the one with Optimus and Megatron fighting on the dam...and they each had magical weapons...like a laser axe and laser mace. Roller was in it too...and all of the Transformers got their new "alts" that we know and love. (Was that the first episode?)

I'd have to go back and check. I've got a lot of the DVDs because I wanted my son to see the real Transformers, not the crap that passes for Transformers nowadays.

Yeah, that's actually part 2 of the first episode, i just watched it on youtube last week, gettin' my nostalgia on after seeing the new trailer.

Aww, don't hate on the new stuff man. Its really not any worse than the originals. I was really cringing at some of that old dialogue. Its amazing how 20 years can cloud your memory. Well, ok, Robots in Disguise and Armada were pretty lame, but Beast Wars was great! (and actually took place in continuity with our show!)

I didn't say anything negative about Beast Wars. I may not have watched much of it, but it was still good stuff. I'm talking stuff like Armada from the past few years. That stuff I couldn't even watch five minutes of. I can still watch the old stuff, even with slightly cheesy dialog. At least the storyline was still good and the voice acting was great. Even the old toys were better, man.

A live action Swat Cats would be frickin' awesome!

I would also love to see Beast Wars, but only if the Fuzor characters are in it (Particularly Silver Bolt, the half wolf/half eagle dude).

Dragon's Lair would KICK!!!

I could so see Vince Vaghne doing it too!

YES!!! Dragon's Lair would DEFINITELY ROCK!

*cough* I'd still rather a He-Man movie with the great put-downs that Skeletor would drop on his bumbling minions  Poor Merman, Beastman, TrapJaw, and TriKlops LOL *cough*

...for all of you that chose Justice League...

You have your wish!

Possibly... nothing is set in stone. When they were deciding on things for Batman Begins and Superman Returns, they announced a "World's Finest" movie(Batman/Superman crossover). That made scripts compete with each other and they found that what they got for the individual movies were better than what they got for the teamup movie. Right now, there are plans for a Wonder Woman movie and a movie for The Flash. Justice League has both of them so we may be looking at the same sort of situation: "Come up with good individual scripts, or else the debut for both characters on the big screen will be teamed with other heroes as well, just to make sure the movie does well." If they get really good scripts for The Flash and Wonder Woman movies, then they may push back or cancel Justice League.

True, but I don't think they'll cancel it...it may get pushed back until AFTER the individual movies but I can't see it being cancelled completely. If anything, they SHOULD do the individual movies first in order to develop the characters so they won't need to do so much of it in the Justice League movie. Can you imagine if they did backstories of every character in the JLA in a single movie??? That would be so choppy it would ruin the entire movie and leave little time to actual go on beyond the character development.

I say, "Bring on the Flash and Wonder Woman first!"...that way the only story development they'll need for a JLA movie is how they all came to be together as a team.

BTW...no mention of Robin...wasn't he in the JLA?
