I hope Cars isn't canceled

It probably will go forward albeit delayed.I hope Cars isn't canceled
They'll probably fill in the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot and put it there.I just hope they re consider the location and put it in another park or perhaps the Speedway...

Just a dream. They for sure could build a path by haunted mansion going to Villains land, but lets face it, they will destroy ROA to build something, anything that they could sell LLs for.I don't see how they can do Villainsland beyond Big Thunder and not do *something* to the rivers of America as need the access .... Suppose can hop they adjust the plan to keep some of the river and/or a different IP than Cars though
Where? Haunted Mansion is next to the river and on the other side is the show building and Tangled restrooms.Just a dream. They for sure could build a path by haunted mansion going to Villains land, but lets face it, they will destroy ROA to build something, anything that they could sell LLs for.
This discussion is moot, but there does appear to be green space on either side of HM where a path could be made, and besides that, THEY ARE FILLING IN THE ENTIRE ROA! I am sure they could figure out a path, if they really wanted to, but they do not.Where? Haunted Mansion is next to the river and on the other side is the show building and Tangled restrooms.
In theory...Where? Haunted Mansion is next to the river and on the other side is the show building and Tangled restrooms.
The right side leads directly into the exterior wall of the show building. Using the in-park map is generally not a good way of determining where paths can go.This discussion is moot, but there does appear to be green space on either side of HM where a path could be made …
Agreed. Previous post by @Purduevian already show real photos, showing real possibilities. The right side leads directly into the exterior wall of the show building. Using the in-park map is generally not a good way of determining where paths can go.
I will say that even with both entrance open... it would be a bit of a choke point.Agreed. Previous post by @Purduevian already show real photos, showing real possibilities.
But as I said the discussion is moot.
Disney will destroy RoA, TSI and the riverboat to chase that sweet, sweet, LL money.
Ah what's another choke point if it means saving RoAI will say that even with both entrance open... it would be a bit of a choke point.
The HM entrance is ~35 feet from water to lawn at some points (assuming basically no theming or berm and just walkway)
The BTMRR entrance has ~25 foot pinch point under the WDRR bridge.
For reference DLR Starwars has 3 entrances of ~30 feet, ~30 feet, ~17feet (at the narrowest points)
I mean if we really want to go down the imagineering route and blowing a budget... I would demo the Pinocchio bathrooms and make a bridge (that guests wouldn't realize is a bridge) over the Utilidoors entrance and swoop behind small world to meet up with Villain's land. For fireworks code make it indoors like knockturn ally.Ah what's another choke point if it means saving RoA
Thanks for the analysis![]()
They are going to blow the budget anyway and we are going to end up with a non functional Cars attraction.I mean if we really want to go down the imagineering route and blowing a budget... I would demo the Pinocchio bathrooms and make a bridge (that guests wouldn't realize is a bridge) over the Utilidoors entrance and swoop behind small world to meet up with Villain's land. And Entrance 2 (assuming Len's rule of No moving bathrooms)

Len on his podcast has said a few times that plumbing is the hardest thing to move. If Disney (or anyone) can get away with leaving plumbing where it is, they will do it.Eh what’s this about a no removing bathrooms rule?
Moving plumbing in an existing building is a pain in the . If you are just starting over it’s not that big of an issue.Len on his podcast has said a few times that plumbing is the hardest thing to move. If Disney (or anyone) can get away with leaving plumbing where it is, they will do it.
Yea the last thing you want in the MK is a sewage back up...... Oh wait.Moving plumbing in an existing building is a pain in the . If you are just starting over it’s not that big of an issue.
In the context of a theme park the issue you might run into with removing a restroom building is the travel distance. Codes require that people only have to go so far to get to a restroom.
Except when it comes to giant fountains in the middle of Future World. Those are fine to remove. If Disney (or anyone) can get away with leaving plumbing where it is, they will do it.
