All able to be monetized. You keep dancing around that for some reason. I wonder why…
If the boat or the island were popular they could have been monetized. They weren’t. Which is why they are gone.

Lack of demand and popularity is why they are gone. You keep ignoring that.

Obviously the reason any park spends any money to put in anything new is to drive attendance and revenue. That’s why the park exists in the first place.

What a very Six Flags Way of thinking. I guess that’s where we’re at right now.

Something to be proud of I guess…

But gutting RoA and TSI isn’t a significant infrastructure change?
It is, that is what I am talking about - whatever way to get to where Villains Land would require infrastructure changes - such as removing the river.bit also could have been done by keeping part of the river but getting pathways in there or coming from the other way and getting rid of Small World or something

There is no way to get to where Villainsland is going without some sort of infrastructure - the elected the option of removing the river and replacing with additional new attractions as the infrastructure change to make

Exactly what part?

You do realize that’s why Disney world exists right?
Yes, and the guest reaction to the past decade of this type management and changes to the parks is not all the reason why they have empty hotels, restaurants, shops, and parks.

Gotta keep those quarterly reports positive, so that Wall Street rewards them.

It wasn’t. But you can always backpedal on it. I forgive you.
It wasn’t what?

The title of the thread is

Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I was pretty clearly talking about the boat and island in every post. I never mentioned muppets. The comment I made about replacement plans under Eisner was also clearly referencing the boat and the island.

Good thing you posted that I thought I was in the Star Wars galaxy‘s edge thread.

It sure seems that way. I’m honestly not sure why you ever thought I was talking about Muppets.
I don’t know, we were talking about iconic Disney attractions that have been removed to the outrage of loyal Parks fans. And you indicated there were plans to remove multiple underperforming attractions for decades.

So…

IF I misinterpreted that then that’s on me.

I said
The first plans I saw to remove the island and riverboat were created while Eisner was still CEO. Long before anyone planned to monetize LL.

I'm crunching the numbers based on generally agreed upon capacity from wayy before this argument, will being incredibly generous to say that ever trip of the riverboat is full to capacity, which I know it's not.

Frontierland is going to be a land of 3 outdoor E tickets, 1 inside show, 1 all age family ride. Are we really pretending that the rafts didn't close during weather? 5 attractions in 1 land is not bad at all. Plus "variety"?? Since when is MK at a shortage of boat rides??? What? Sure it's a different system but at that point, so is both the new systems coming to the area anyway
Splash and BTMRR also close(d) for weather.
