They close the railroad early too, last I checked. It stinks.Same reason they close a lot of things earlier compared to Disneyland.
To save on operating costs.

Walt Disney World is a business. It’s ridiculous that people expect the world’s busiest theme park to just be able to operate attractions throughout the day. They close the railroad early too, last I checked. It stinks.
The railroad closes at night because the track is very close to a fireworks launch site. They close the railroad early too, last I checked. It stinks.
It is closed hours before fireworks start. It didn't used to be.The railroad closes at night because the track is very close to a fireworks launch site.
I just checked the website. I didn’t know it closed at 6. That’s way earlier than I remember. By the way I heard this from a cast member who worked at the Train in the park.It is closed hours before fireworks start. It didn't used to be.
They used to be able to do it.Walt Disney World is a business. It’s ridiculous that people expect the world’s busiest theme park to just be able to operate attractions throughout the day.
Disneyland closes an entire land (toontown) and reopens it after fireworks. I think the DL Railroad only closes for fireworks in certain wind conditions but I’m not sure. The railroad closes at night because the track is very close to a fireworks launch site.
The WDWRR used to close with the park. The reason it closes is to save money. It’s strange because the WDWRR is always packed. The railroad closes at night because the track is very close to a fireworks launch site.
I imagine both are true. They close it early to save on operating costs and have to close it before the fireworks. As for popularity yes my family rides it a lot because my little brother loves trains and it’s always full. The last time I rode it before the big closure the line at the Frontierland station went past splash mountain. Granted it was New Year’s Eve.The WDWRR used to close with the park. There’s a Frozen land in Epcot, including the original ride they’ve cloned twice now.It still boggles my mind why they the US parks doesn't even a Frozen land and they chose Cars. I feel like it's perfect for MK. I don't think there's gonna be a new Cars movie anytime soon yet there is a Frozen 3 in the works. I wouldn't mind replicating Anna and Elsa's Frozen Journey.
Well…. There’s a frozen themed attraction, meet and greet and restaurant within the pavilion of Norway. Several issues with that and the concept of Epcot. There’s a Frozen land in Epcot, including the original ride they’ve cloned twice now.
Expedition arendelle. Presented by wandering okans trading post and sauna.Well…. There’s a frozen themed attraction, meet and greet and restaurant within the pavilion of Norway. Several issues with that and the concept of Epcot.
Building a full frozen land would be ideal for MK or Studios. Or even DAK - since reindeer are in the film. (wink wink)
Oh goodness…. Iger would love that. I’m sorry I mentioned it now. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet.Expedition arendelle. Presented by wandering okans trading post and sauna.
That's Arendelle from Temu. There’s a Frozen land in Epcot, including the original ride they’ve cloned twice now.

Well, we'll see if Frozen 3 also brings in a billion dollars...I’d say any Frozen land at WDW is highly unlikely now

We have a Toy Story ride in one park and a Toy Story Land in another, so, there's precedence. Unlike other Disney parks in which there's only one or two gates, WDW likes to spread their most popular IP in more than one park. Can you imagine the calamity of entering a Disney park and not meeting princesses?!
Let's take a look at how much Dumbo merch is bringing in...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think toystory is the only IP with RIDES in two different theme parks.Well, we'll see if Frozen 3 also brings in a billion dollars...

Yes for rides, but no for attractions. Beauty and the Beast has attractions in 3 parks, Little Mermaid, Frozen, Finding Nemo and soon Monsters Inc have attractions in 2 parks. The Lion King between 1998 and 2002 had shows at 3 parks tooCorrect me if I'm wrong, but I think toystory is the only IP with RIDES in two different theme parks.
