It was upon opening and has remained so for over 50 years I'm afraid. I can name something every single other castle park's Frontierland has better on MK's.There’s no way that MK’s Frontierland was the “worst.”

I don’t think of one being drastically better than the other. The 3 I’ve visited are pretty different and I enjoy all of them.It was upon opening and has remained so for over 50 years I'm afraid. I can name something every single other castle park's Frontierland has better on MK's.
Gas guzzling vehicles wreak havoc on the environment. The people that drive them are evil /sOk, how exactly do vroom vroom vehicles in a national park setting compliment a villains setting??
Agreed,They're not killing RnR just retheming it. Is anyone really in that ride for Aerosmith specifically? If so...you don't need a roller coaster to listen to Aerosmith.

Sentient cars are villains. Did we learn nothing from "Christine"?

Evils of capitalism, car-based society and the fossil fuel industry obviously! /s.Ok, how exactly do vroom vroom vehicles in a national park setting compliment a villains setting??
I thought it was a because an evil sorcerer turned everyone into cars to satisfy his mechanophilia.Obviously the reason there are no humans in the Cars universe is that the sentient cars slaughtered them all.
But they only had human society to use as a basis after gaining sentience, which is why everything reflects human society, architecture, etc.
People focus on Iger (and even Chapek!) too much. He apparently both doesn’t care about the parks but also cares about his legacy inside of them. I don’t think it’s ever been that deep (and I lean that he doesn’t care that much)I don’t think Disney replacing the river is ego, though persisting despite many signs that they shouldn’t (many failed proposals to florida gov and general unpopularity of the change) I can see how that would be ego.
Yeah, I could care less about cloned attractions. Some might argue with your standpoint saying oh it's not the original, Disneyland is, but pay attention people original OG things of WDW aren't cared about or is it the thumb that it doesn't have to matter at Walt Disney World. Look at Muppets 3D/Courtyard and The Great Movie Ride without updating or editing changing scenes!
For sure.First sentence is a definitive statement with no real proof. I'm not saying it won't happen, but the artwork makes it seems like they're trying to not have that happen. Their success in doing so is another story entirely. As for Piston Peak, it also depends on which artwork they follow and how naturalistic they go. Yes, the cartoonier artwork makes it look pretty ill-fitting, but the overpainted version could easily be a formation at McAfee's or somewhere similar.
Here's my compromise: Put this behind Big Thunder and please all of your guests.I guess that depends on what we think compromise is. Because like, you could argue the Muppets RnR is a compromise.
Country Bears redo is a compromise too.
But, and I'm not saying this is you at all, some ppl consider compromise as Disney just not doing something.
We have to figure out what is a feasible compromise here Given all the factors. Just how much harder and more expensive is it to keep some river? If that can be determined, compromise can be suggested in good faith.
My family - all four of us consider the Aerosmith part of it a large component of the allure. They're not killing RnR just retheming it. Is anyone really in that ride for Aerosmith specifically? If so...you don't need a roller coaster to listen to Aerosmith.
Hmm, maybe Iger is green lighting this as he heads out the door as a warning to us all about the perils of AI?Obviously the reason there are no humans in the Cars universe is that the sentient cars slaughtered them all.

I believe it's also been suggested by people in the know that the rockwork will include a lot of flowing water features, so that sound will probably also be used in an attempt to mask anything that may leak out. Again, success of the endeavor remains to be seen.I'm also betting that the sound of the vehicles will be onboard sound via speakers for the riders of the vehicles to hear - and not people outside of them. (Not much anyway.)
it wasn’t meant to be an exact clone though, it still had plenty of unique elementsYeah, I could care less about cloned attractions.
The whole idea of WDW was essentially to bring DL to the East Coast, with the added "blessing of space."
