I'm with you Tramp. What a sad and tragic loss . Every time I see that man's pic I feel sick.

I've been watching this story since it first broke. I just saw the story on my homepage....my heart goes out to her family & friends. This is every parent's worse nightmare.

While I celebrate her Homecoming, I am saddened that she was taken at such a young age. I pray for healing within the family and a comfort that they know she now walks in paradise.

The only reassuring thought about the whole situation is that he's going to face a fate worse than death when he goes to prison. And i'm not talking about the police; i give him a very short amount of time in GenPop before he gets what he deserves and the taxpayers are saved a lot of money keeping his ______ alive.

This is one of the few times "an eye for an eye" should be applied, IMO. If this fool is indeed found guilty, let the Brucia family have him for a week first. Whatever is left should be left to rot.

I also agree...jail is way too good for him. Its not the first time he grabbed somebody. Luckily the last girl was older & was able to get away. He got away with it because he convinced the jury that he was just trying to "help her" & she "misunderstood".

Being a father of a little girl I really feel for this family and was hoping for the best. When I heard the news this morning I was truly hurt. I live in SWFLA and Sarasota is a few hours away so it hit home. I only hope the person that did this gets what he deserves 10 fold and one more time just to prove the point. Florida really needs to review the laws about these types of criminals and I hope this tragedy moves them off their butts!

You're right. It's just insane. And it's beyond our understanding because we aren't insane. Only someone without their full "facilities" could do such a thing.
However, if they use some kind of insanity plea and get him off because of it......

If he manages to get off and once again walk the streets his freedom will be very short lived. (and I don't think anyone will fault the person who sends him to HELL. :fork: )

From what I heard on the news, this wasnt his first time he attempted this...He tried about 6 years ago in the same area, and the jury let him OFF!
I was so upset by all of this!
It looks to be south county...a less populated area. I lived in Sarasota for 10 years. Its hard to think she may have been in my store with her mom...

YEs, I heard he he has been in jail several times and they let him out. this is trully sad! My prayers go out to her family and friends.
